I found the samples in the BIS folder. They sound pretty good, I have to say.

All I did - used 2 samples, edited them.

AKM&AKS sound heavier due to the big fat round and old mechanics.

AK74 & AK107 sound poppier, almost like NATO guns, but still with the AK snap, because the round is smaller and mechanics & materials are more modern.

Yeah SAM-systems belong to the most requested in this thread, but no one does one. I have a SA-2 modell I did from OFP times, and in the "Uncomplete addons" thread someone gave away another SA-2 modell, but no 9K330 launcher vehicles Im afraid.

Yea I remember there being a 9K330 in OFP along with a S-300 system...

You must be like a robot to read those hints. ;)

Really though that whole system was written in less than 200 lines of code on top of the CBA perFrameHandler code. It makes it really easy to write ultra-time sensitive code and have it pretty guaranteed to work everywhere under most conditions.

Anyway, I made some improvements last night to the leading code. At launch and for 1 second after boost start (though this might be turned to a distance based check) it will only lead as far as +/- 90 degrees off its launch axis (to a max of +/- 170 degrees). It also will only lead if the target is +/- 15 degrees off its nose (this lets it engage targets that are coming head on much more efficiently). This lends itself to making its largest course corrections near the start of the flight (when still under powered flight) and it naturally tends to want to find a course that brings it to a head on intercept (maintaining the most kinetic energy for later flight course corrections).

ah got it.. the plate screws up the front of the uv's , so deselecting the back makes it unwrap pleasantly.

Another video of the 9M330 missile... This time doing complex intercepts (it handles them pretty darn gracefully if I do say so myself).

I am debating doing a model my self for the 9K330... LOL... The chassis for it is the same as the Tunguska and a bunch of other Russian mobile SAM systems (like BUK M1 and stuff). If I make a good chassis I'll release it for other addon makers to put turrets on, no sense in reinventing the wheel for all these vehicles... No promises though on if I do it, also if I do it, it probably won't be textured! :p

Thanks... Mind you thats all under powered flight with the missile (range is really short) if you were outside the rockets burn time those flight paths would be much more problematic for it since it loses velocity quickly.

Left one is a Smith and Wesson 59, mddle is either a Glock 17 or 19, and the right is a Walther. Very nice Kheiro.

Watch out for mirrored textures such as in the Glock's case, but very nice job :)

Nice! Very useful addon. Seriosly :)

Take your attention to "geometry" lod. He must be a little lower, than the viewable part, becuz AIs are no firing well if "geometry" lod is high. This is a problem of all BIS fortifications, AI just does not shoot from there!

If anyone wants it when it is done give a shout because I have no experience putting anything into the game.

EDIT: working on the internals slowly but surely and still need to do the right side, just a symmetry mirror right now. This deceivingly simple object is becoming a burden.

Quick question, is it possible to have a scrolling reticule in Arma 2?
