Looks like we've got some new functionality that changed the way reports work, I've just reported your post and it's a bit different than usual.

Try it now and let us know if you're still running into the same thing, there seemed to be some issues earlier with the new functionality.

It was reduced several years ago due to infractions but I have been on good behavior ever since! (Don't remember who reduced it.)

Seems as good a place as any to report. I'm currently getting spammed with notification e-mails, one per new post per thread, rather than the usual single e-mail per thread that says I will not receive any more notifications until I visit the thread.

Yeah, I've just started getting that and find it equally annoying. Might be OK for new users with less than 10 posts or something but otherwise it just grates.

One night of the captcha thing and I'm done with it.

Trying to answer people in the editing forums is a pain and it's also there when you use search.

Not only that as far as I can tell the search now searches all forums so you have to go through advanced search.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the captcha thing is intentional. The forum has been having a few changes done to it and sometimes changing one thing has undesirable, unanticipated effects... which I guess is why we initially said no to the +1 voting, then it appeared, now it has disappeared.

I believe it's the count of new users who have named you when creating their account on the forums. As in, you introduced or "referred" them to the forums.

ye you can get that either via invite more users to BIForum (by sending them invitation) or they can refer Your nickname while creating own account ...

I just registered to the forums to ask a question about TOH but it seems I can not start a new thread. Do I have to message an admin to prove I'm not a bot or is it gonna be worse and will I be able to start a new thread as soon as my post count is 1?

newcomers to forums can't start new thread, you need to have several posts before you can ... it's to prevent abuse in style "I want Arma 3 alpha key" new thread spam

I can see why that might be necessary :) I'm actually one of the proud owners of the Arma III Alpha which doesn't mean I'll ask you to grant me posting rights, I'll look around the forum and see what I can contribute to reach the necessary post count. Would you mind telling me how many posts are required? Not that I'm gonna rush things but it's nice to know what I'm aiming at :)
