The pictures are too big for BIs shitty forum, I resized them for you.

Hey! Only BI's employees are allowed to call our shitty forum shitty, thank you very much!

I'm loving the detailed textures and the new fire, (though it could use some bloom). I'm not a fan of the color scheme though. The first two images look to brown, though the contrast is awesome.

Still cool though.

Don't you know wars are conducted in sepia? tounge2.gif

I love the Eastern European autumn feel. No more banana republics!

Very nice, but except for the fire FX, the bottom two pics seem to have slighlty inferior forest density and randomness (color, shape) than in other previously released pics... or it could just be that clump of WIP forest...

It seems they're going with a more contrasted-brownish look too... sort of Graw or even OFP2 kind of look... Not bad for a stormy atmosphere, but I hope you can have blue sky with vibrant colors too...

Looks really good to me. it looks more like flashpoint with the colour scheme and thats one of the things that made it stand out from the rest.. maybe the fire has just started thats why no bloom!

Hi, about those 4 new screenshots... it's good to know that BIS

has upgraded the units shape and watch a M16A4 Aimpoint in first

place, so no one else have to it instead 'em; but, are the units left

handed?? why they've the drop magazines pouch in the right side?,

and why the backpack is Marpat(w) when they are Coyote Tan or

Green?. I hope that the Jonn's USMC units be ported to ArmA2 looking

at that; but those BIS units really look much better than in previous

screenshots. Let's C ya

Same here, feels much more like OFP somehow smile_o.gif. Like the open areas aswell for tank battles.

Can't wait for some new movies next week. smile_o.gif

Its a matter of getting used to different regions. If ArmA story and campaign were better and had some main characters...

Hmm those Cobras dont have AA missiles on their wingtips. Will ArmA2 make futuremark and others obsolete? biggrin_o.gif

Somehow the screens remind me on the After Montignac Mission... Have the same feeling (and that means I love it biggrin_o.gif)

Rhaaa, you're talking about an era... what an era...

good ol' OFP era ! inlove.gif

I would just add that I like really much,

shadows and textures are more precise,

"far terrain" texture is still not above average,

and the filter adds alot.

ArmA graphics aren't that bad, they just need 2-3 tweaks !

I just hope lightnings and light shadows are better handled.

Far blur is awesome (postprocessing übermax maybe ^^)

and smokes are (as far as I see (AFAIS?)) better too.

just luv' , Placebo, Maruk, Suma, development team, MARRY ME !

(or just gimme the game engine, I'll save your life this time biggrin_o.gif )

Ha! That VG Cats comic was the very first thing I thought about when Praelium said that...

Heheh, same here rofl.gif

And indeed, the "After Montignac"-feel is really prevalent in those screenshots. I really hope they add some season-specific dynamics to the environment, i.e. falling leaves etc.
