WIP: Mig-15 bis

bdfy & volksturm are working on Mig-15bis addon.

Upcoming pack will include fighter-bomber modification of Mig-15bis with fully functional cockpit.

There'll be also a demo campaign by OTK-studio featuring this addon.

i won't post updates at bis forums for a while (let's think it's my protest on mlod issue), but nevermind...

Brilliant! Looks well suited for SLA... at least better than SU-34 or Sopwith Camel. And I love all types of cold war equipment, whether from 1950's or 1980's.

i agree, _realistic_ is not a proper word for arma. though it's fun to fly it - it's good chopper-killer Arma is more about ground simulation anyway - that's why ground assault modification is made.

armament is realistic now -  2x20mm+37mm guns, 57mm rockets, up to 500kg bombs. As about fictitious SLA markings... gona think about it, but we do not want to add a lot of skins at the moment (addon size will increase a lot)

You could do it like RHS with their tanks and just add different emblems. This won't increase the filesize too much.

That's a really beautiful bird you have there. Congrats to the authors, the texturing seems to be top-notch!  

I remember seeing a lot of those in real-life while being a kid.. Don't know why, but there was a trend here in Poland to display decomissioned MiG 15/17's on city squares and other strange (for a MiG) places back in the 80's

Some addons have got terrible weight distribution and those things, which make it fly utterly shit. Will this fly properly, or also halfway

I think the people who mocked him where more interested in his conduct rather than his skill when calling him a "shithead".

On topic: I think this is the first fixed wing jet engined aircraft to be shown in game textured, looks the part.
