The video... well, if once i can download, i say it. ^^ I notice two thing of the new pics: -In this pic we saw an assymetric armament, the AH-1Z have an 7-tube (LAU-68?) Hydra-pod under the inner right pylon, and an 19-tube (LAU-69?) pod on the inner left pylon. Rather disturbing, because rarely use different type of pods in the same pylons of the two wings. But this raise a question: we seen perhaps an example of the custimzed weaponry in the helos? I like the idea, always hated why we are restricted only one type of armament in OFP... - But this is the other thingy... Well we are saw pictures showing M1A1's with M2 Machine Guns in the commanders hatch. But as we see, the T-72(M1?)'s are lack of the NSVT anti-air MG's... orange juice 0 Posted August 23, 2006 that movie is not overly impressive rly... means you won't see anything new. i downloaded it with a dial-up which took more than an hour... there's some first-person-minigunning from a blackhawk. the gun model looks pretty nice and shiny, maybe a bit too shiny for most people here... the muzzle flash looked quite good. also the gun sounded pretty minigunnish imo (brrrrrrrrrrrrr...) not too shabby. gunner is spraying the buildings beneath that chopper, you can't see bullet impact though. the rest of the video (the longer part actually) is just some freely moving third person camera view of the blackhawk. No zooms, no stunts, a bit blurry. edit: i should probably add that the gunner's hands are not attached to the gun and not moving, just like original flashpoint... Looks pretty much like the standard "in cargo" position from OFP. that city looks quite nice from above too... framerate seems to be stable. well. there really is'nt much in that video. Asymetrical loadouts are often used to maintain balance. I.e., #1 pylon has TOW cluster, #2 pylon has M261 pod, #3 pylon has M260, #4 has HELLFIRE, and so on. These types of loadouts aren't that rare these days because of the dynamic nature of an engagement. You might end up needing a gun pod when you only have ATGMs. We can also make customizable loadouts with OFP, with some trickery and cleverness - see ACES for example. I just hope it's not the dynamic graphic sprite effect where the grass and small shrubs are drawn only within a certain radius around the player and start disappear beyond the set visual range leaving the ground barren. In the situation when a player lies in tall grass in the middle of an open area and thinks he's totally concealed he will appear lying on the ground in plain view with no cover to the enemy that's beyond the set range for the dynamic grass sprite effect. stegman 3 Posted August 24, 2006 Not sure if any one has pointed this out, but you can see it in alot of pictures. Â The soldiers have their fingure in the saftey possition (IE not on the triger), see here, here and here and any other picture you can find.
