For example, I've placed down rail_station_big, gate_ind2b_l, and gate_ind2b_r but I haven't been able to open any of them. Edit: Yes, before anyone asks, simulation is enabled. The community I'm with are quite the fans of old Cherno and are wanting to play on it without having all the other maps. Just curious if this is possible, as I remember a CUP member saying that CUP is all about being modular, you can take it apart and only use the stuff you want to use. I've deleted everything from Maps and just have the Cherno Pbos and its working absolutely perfect with the full Core, now to refine Core, best I can of course, or find out what this sound problem is. I had no clue what the name of N'Ziwasogo was and just resorted to download a mission someone else made on the map. :) I'll give you a hint: You wouldn't have been able to guess it in a million years. There must be an easier way to find it if it's not included in the documentation. Have things changed in the mean time? If not, would you be interested in setting up a crowdfunding scheme to buy models on the market and upgrade A1/A2 terrains with it? CUP TP already has a lot of upgraded vegetation and next update will bring more of that (mostly technical not visual). Buying models has several problems: 1) Most licenses prohibit redistribution in any reusable/extractable format. P3D is such a format. 2) Getting vegetation models in ArmA is very hard. 3) Changing models will result in misplaced objects and drastical changed look and feel of terrains but we want the A1/A2 terrains to feel like they did in the old days (but of course with better visual and technology). 4) Such crowdfunding never worked with the ArmA-community (as far as I know) 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Mynock 244 Posted May 1, 2016 Edit: So after firing up the mod today, this issue appears gone. I guess the mod wasn't loading correctly for me that day, so it was an isolated issue. Sorry if I gave the CUP team a scare. I'll quote my original post below for those curious. Arma has been giving me issues since the latest update, so I figured I'd ask before submitting a ticket to confirm it's not something weird on my end only (yet again...). All of a sudden after the latest Arma update the water level of the pond nearest the two barn-type structures on the Proving Ground terrain is higher than it is visually displayed (I'm guessing it started for me after the latest Arma update; it's been like 25 days or so since I touched the mission I was working on until today when I discovered the issue while testing the mission). If I get anywhere near that specific pond (say within 50 meters), especially directly south of the pond, I get the walking-in-water sound or my character actually switches to swimming mode and "swims" a few feet off the dry ground below him, or is instantly killed when he tries to switch to swim mode (see video). In 3rd person view if I tilt the camera to look up toward the sky, the camera switches to the blurry below water view which makes me think something happened to make the water level way too high in terms of data, but not visually. Actually trying to enter the visual pond either causes the character to hover in mid air endlessly, or launches him halfway to the moon so he can fall to his death (hilarious, but not when trying to complete a mission). I've included a quick video below. No modifications running in that video other than CUP Terrains Full 1.0.1 (not the dual file version found on Steam Workshop); I was using the stable branch as well. It was not doing this like 25 days ago or whenever it was I lasted worked on the mission before today. I have not tested the water on other CUP maps for similar issues, but I did test that small pond next to the corner of the dirt road on Proving Grounds and that one is working normally. I will check that later. Better create a ticket about that. But I am not sure if we can do something with the ponds except remoing them again. Those bugs are really engine bugs we can do nothing about. Anyway, the garages I meant are the Chernorussian little white one car garages. Think where you find metal and duct tape in Exile. We don't play Exile so we have no idea were you find ducttape. Better provide a screenshot and a bugtracker ticket (with the screenshot attached). My personal up to Gameservers.com is really bad and the entirety of this project will take for ever. Apologies if this goes elsewhere but it seems like a good place to ask because those using this mod on a remote/hosted server will frequent this forum area.
