which of us can shed tears of happiness now!? ... is it for the Singleplayerguys,..or the MP-Community?

Where can these trees be found?

Edit: Nevermind, found them at Agia Marina. They look okay, just their trunks have an odd (white) texture. Do Greek pines look like that? I don't think so.

Please check the images that I posted above. I'm not sure they are called pine trees. But now there is images you can check.

Anyone finding the echo / reverb on the pawnee's rockets a bit too much in first person? It sounds really good in 3rd person in my opinion but 1st person just sounds wrong

Some stutter here as well. No FPS gain here.

Any idea if the pine trees are going to be replaced or changed? I don't like how they look.

it's slight improvement of utilizing another core for some simulation tasks (randering, particles, object preparations etc.) ...

this resource was in past reserved for some case which is not not used/needed anymore

if you want numbers then 10% is good approximate gain ...

it might be more and it might be less in depedence on what's going on scene

few pages back.

Still worried for my earlier stutter to come back, but now that all seems to work good - The performance is very smooth including my livefeed PiP-footage of mortars firing that before dropped FPS very noticeable more. Also when driving with units/other stuff deleting/spawning on background, it still nicely smooth.

as i downloaded the updates even before the Changelog was online, i haven't thought about to check back "a few pages back" of this thread.

10%? i know, i know - be happy what you get. yaddayadda.... but - this sounds like some scalings made.

And, as always, i assume things... ah, forget about it.... but: Y U NO MADE IT 20%, 25% or 50% scaling off to other cores? mehh,..i don't want to complain or repeat our collection of guessings and proven facts anymore.

Obviously i just don't understand - but if you have your hands on an issue, that has been mourned by everyone thats into (yeah i know,..i repeat myself) editing/hosting providing YOUR game with more contents....

Why don't you just take a little more time to think about how to fix a EPIC showstopper/bottleneck!?

looking forward what happens on my DEV servers and what results on Server-FPS can be achieved.

FYI: atm 63 players at 13 Server-FPS on stable.

i mean ... you are talking about Tree-Design here?!

the "singleplayer only"-guys are excused somehow,... but - i still don't get it how can you talk about freaking Trees while,...

someone tells you about an large epic nice balanced Militarygame... i mean, do you really think of a "console-like-yeah i am going to shoot bots on that huge island"

or do you think about multiplayer? I mean, Multiplayer of 2013!? (i don't think any gamer needs examples of what is possible at 2013)

the more threads i read, the more i think they are going for "console-like" singleplayer... or co-op. ......will splitscreen come before or after MP-issues/bottlenecks fixed? (sarcasm!)

i am off forums now for a while - maybe except my own mission/server-related threads.

i have enough.

Went for a drive and the tree image noticeably changed and follow my vehicle when I was a few meters from it. This breaks the immersion.

Nice inclusion of being to be able to download missions from Steam Workshop.

Could you have a parameter mission makers can include in their missions so when you join a server hosting the mission, you download from workshop instead of server (to lessen strain on hosting server)?

Yeah, actually I do. Because bots don't teamkill. Bots don't hack. Bots don't DDoS if they don't get their way. Bots don't destroy servers for lulz. Bots don't ask why there aren't zombies everywhere. Bots don't spawn camp. Bots don't blow things up because they are bored. Bots don't cheat. Bots don't spam chat and VON and Teamspeak. Multiplayer is pretty wretched for the most part, public multiplayer 1000x worse, so yes I do think about co-op vs AI when I think about Multiplayer.

Joystick input still broken for me in 0.75.108.541, can anyone else confirm? My HOTAS works fine in other games.

yes, but,..you better not forget - BIG COOP / PVE missions rely on the same Multiplayer/server/engine as the guys that like PVP,... and then we will see where you at (no, not at poor 20-40 players and 200-300 silly AI on a huge island)

i am not sure what to answer further. Everybody has its own taste - but i still can't - and i don't think i ever will understand why Multiplayer isn't that big number 1 priority of BIS.

OH, crap - i can answer that!!!

BE AN ADMIN, or ask someone to do that - so you can kick / ban everyone that is messing around / disturbing yours and others gameplay =)

it's easy like that.

i dont have a hotas, i have a combinatian of a logitech extrema pro 3d and a thrust control from saitek x52pro. (the x52pro-stick is sadly broken).

but on my side its working as everytime. could you PM me what exactly is going wrong on your side. eventually we find a solution.

did helicopters get weaker in this update?

a sniper can near enough take down a helicopter with 1 or 2 shots.

depending where its hit.

just falls from the sky.

also noticed the commanche and possibly others dont like engaging infantry units

and then i walked back and there were footprints on the floor, which disappeared after a few seconds

Finding a lot of repeating sound bugs this dev patch. When opening the inventory I get a bit of super-speed tapdancing and hopping into an AH-9 caused every sound to repeat with reverb until it faded out- ie, I heard the missile fire, then again, and again, and again...

Maybe tried to raid to much gear off the guy and gave yourself a prolapse, the footprints were caused when walking backwards with your own internals and shit being trampled in by your boots.

The footprints disappeared thanks to the Mediterranean heat drying them up pretty quickly.

Just be thankful they haven't simulated smell in A3 yet.
