Known issues

- Only two distance LOD on all choppers, except UH-60L Medevac;

- Soldiers can walk throung external fuel pods and inner pylons.

Looks really nice, well done.

Just as a thought:

BLUEFOR -> US Navy -> Air -> UH-60Q Medevac

Since the BIS MEV Blackhawk is sorted under

BLUEFOR -> US Navy -> Support -> UH-60 MEV

wouldn't it make sense to put yours to Support aswell? Just a thought....

The read me included in the download states:

BLUEFOR -> US Army -> Air -> UH-60Q Medevac

Which makes more sense than being under Navy at least...

It is actually in BLUFOR --> US ARMY --> AIR.

A few little issues.

In the same vein as Myke, shouldn't the US Army UH-60 be in the Army section, not Navy? Lol Likely just a hold over from class inheritance, so no real complaints there. :p

I've noticed that the main-rotor blur is not synced up with the rotor hub, so it looks wobbly. The landing gear is also not animated, however the Shadow geometry for the front gear is. The shadow LoD is missing the rotors, rear landing gear and pylons. Nothing game breaking, so no real complaints here. ;)

A couple requests, though. Could you add FLIR and flares?

That is some detail you have, always been a fan of your hawk series and the details they entail, especially those beautiful rotor assemblies that so often get neglected, and its nice to see another joining the family! If I may, do you have any plans for UH-60M as well? And if so, and you might require an extra hand in finding some images I'd be happy to assist :)

- SH-60F;

- MH-60G gray and camo with M134 miniguns;

- HH-60H two versions - one with two miniguns and second with hellfires;

- MH-60K;

- UH-60L two variants - one with M60 machineguns, other with wings and fueltanks;

- MH-60L three variants - one without pilot doors, second with pilot doors and refuel probe, third with attached wings and variable arnaments (DAP);

- UH-60M with M134 miniguns;

- HH-60M medevac;

- VH-60N;

- MH-60R;

- MH-60S 3 variants - one with M134 miniguns, second with hellfires and third with anti-mines equipment;

- HH-60T;

- MH-60T;

- Firehawk.

There you go Nod. :) I'm incredibly stoked for all the variants.

I tried with the BIS MEDEVAC, and it does not allow the same.

Realism aside, I actually like this. Makes boarding the bird a lot easier.

Its probably for the sake of the Ai. They like to walk right through them.

Nice looking model, besides the fixed need for the rotor, my only suggestions would be add FLIR, Flares and to add RH's Blackhawk sound mod, I'd suggest the same sounds for your seahawks, jayhawks and any other -60 series aircraft you release.

You can easily add flares if you are using Mando Missles...Until Mando returns and adds to MMA.

add this to your init.sqf to enable flares and navigation:

That was a nice little surprise coming here today : D

Looks really great, no missing errors.

All i found out was that, like mencioned before, the landing gear wasn't animated, which made it awkward landing on the LHD, as it bounces and stays "landed" a few centimeters off the deck.

Other than that, stellar job!

Agreed with the 2 posters about changing the rotor sound. Also can you change the crew from USMC pilots to Army pilots?

I write this as I patiently await his -60H addon....

Nice looking model, besides the fixed need for the rotor, my only suggestions would be add FLIR, Flares and to add RH's Blackhawk sound mod, I'd suggest the same sounds for your seahawks, jayhawks and any other -60 series aircraft you release.

I know it's all personal preference (and choice), so please don't take this personally (same to RH), but I found that RH's Blackhawk sound just wasn't as "real" as the real thing. To me, it sounded a lot like the helicopter thingy in Half-Life 2. I greatly appreciate RobertHammer's work, especially his various M4/M14 addons, but sound has always been the weak point for me on some of his addons.

At the end of the day, the beauty of the OFP/Arma series is choice, so we can all do what we want to make the game as we like, but I'd say leave the default -60 sounds in on Yura's addons and then you can add whatever sound mod you want to replace it.

This looks very nice and well-detailed! Great work.

The landing gear isn't properly animated and the rotors look a little odd for some reason once it starts up.
