wipman 1 Posted November 25, 2011 Hi, a true surprise to see a new patch for the ArmA2, is great, seriously; but... is good to fix the SP campaign ans missions, but what the ArmA2 needs is to get fixes on SP & Mp game breaking issues as the Aimpoint's Glass Bug or the M1911 A1 model. Personaly, those are the kind of bugs and issues that i want fixed on the ArmA2 more than the SP missions or the Campaign, but i've to say that every patch for the ArmA2 is wellcome. That seems like a good thing, as there are many more fixes in the OA exe. I assume that 1.60 OA AI changes will be applied to A2 missions within CO (once 1.60 is released)? UAV (Razor 2 mission) screen has cool mini gps map at upper left which I don't remember, and there is only black hot and white hot thermal IR views, no non-IR view. Bitter Chill starts with black screen too, but you can hear sounds and hear your soldier walking which feels like this is not real Bitter Chill where mission starts by sitting in chair and waiting for the briefing to end. Manhattan started to work when I copied missions.pbo, missions.pbo.bi.bisign and missions.pbo.bi2.bisign from ArmA 2\beta\addons to ArmA 2\AddOns (backupped the originals first) and then lauched game with "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch"-shortcut. I mentioned time of day to note that it was daytime, and thus there should be light as at normal start of Bitter Chill (Razor at FOB Manhattan, sitting in chairs). My brightness settings are fine. Hanzu above had the same problem with Bitter Chill in this beta. Normal conversations between Razor Team members do not occur. Choose Recruit difficulty and you will see in map screen before mission that whole FOB Manhattan hill is empty with other units and characters (Cpt. Shaftoe, Simmons etc.) and there is only Razor Team and one vehicle there. By pressing M for map you get bright red map cursor, so no, it is not about display settings. When you abort to end this all darkness mission and Suspend save happens you will see real view for a second or two just like everytime when you save and notice it is daytime. This mission is lacking some files from .pbo or something. I also tested by copying all ARMA 2 beta 1.11.86688 files to my Arma2 directory (to the right places) and tested if it would work on 1.60 beta or 1.59 final, both had black screen.
