Can anyone reccommend some good SP missions for OA? Sometimes there isn't much happening on multiplayer and many of the SP missions I have tried are not very good.

Yeah, look for missions by Saok, Zipper5, Bardosy or Colonel Stagler in the User Missions forum. Usually mod-free goodness

Operation Mighty Justice campaign

Has some questionable design (most notable - some friendly commanders are unkillable - I had a moment where in a 2nd mission a BTR was stuffing a commander with .50 cal but he wasn't even blinking). But other than that it's a good combined ops grunt-focused campaign.

I've been playing Operation Cobalt and it's great. Excellent story, playable missions, and good level design. I'd recommend it to anyone, beginner or expert.

A good choice for SP missions has already been given. If you enjoy transport helo flying, I'd add 'Workhorse' to the mix, it's really awesome.

More Dynamic SP: Cipher, The Forgotten Few (very nice menu options), All of the "Flashpoint" SP missions (set up what you want and jump into large battle situations instantly - great for testing mods & soundmods too). The "Seize Zones" series of missions (MP style capture bunkers play in SP - can last for hours, VERY good for SP), The recent "Battlefield" missions (again kind of MP style play but includes SP mode). The recent Chinook flying missions "Wokhorse".

SP missions: The OFP mission pack "CWC Classics" (tons, and I mean probably all of them of OFP CWC SP mission sported over into all DLC flavours and maps).

Campaign missions: A Noble Cause (great use of ACE features too), Chesty Puller, BAF "Joint Ops", Team Shadow Campaign (Sniper based with training missions and stealth), Ghost Recon Island thunder re-make missions << must have for OGR fans.

Another self promotion here... You may want to try my SP mission "Bitter Memories". I recorded the voice of my wife for it, and It received a good score on OFPEC so it can't be that bad :). It can also be played as a coop.
