MGI ADVANCED MODULES Hi all, Here is an addon for mission makers. If you need to easily spawn some factions, some civilian life or just add randomized weapons loot in houses... If you want an advanced AI heal & revive, for SP or MP mission, able to heal players or bros.. ... or respawning AIs, in waves or at once.. If you want a transport support on any vehicle... A vehicle respawn system with crew, waypoints, loadouts, addActions, arsenal.... Friendly kill sanction... AI cannons able to fire HE shells on infantry... Some generators able to switch on/off a district... or adapt silencers to combat behavior... or perhaps a simple tool for reading all map object classes/display names/p3d model names... Other tools like tire puncture on barbed wires? ... And of course, MP compatible, favorite mods compatible... Here you are. MODULES on Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1682280809 The summary is just here. [WIP] ACA - Advanced Combat Animations
KokaKolaA3 posted a topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Hey! Today I want to announce our latest project, the "Advanced Combat Animations" mod, by "our" I mean Mihal, Maximili and me. This project has been a Team effort from the beginning on and this team has brought this mod that far, that we can finally share this with you guys. So what is this mod even about? This mod adds many new Animations to be used in PvP or even PvE Combat. Many of these Animations are from an Arma 2 mod, called "SMK" by Smookie, he did an awesome job on these animations, but sadly he's not active in the Community anymore. So we decided to bring his mod back alive in Arma 3, but this mod won't be a straight port of his mod, we are adding new animations and features, building up upon his mod from Arma 2. What's the current Status and ETA of a release? Well, we've been working on this for several weeks now and we only got a few issues to fix. Once these Issues are solved we will release this mod on the official Forums, Armaholic and Steam Workshop. We are aiming for a release before the end of march. If you are interested in the development of this mod, make sure to join our Discord Server here! Here are some screenshots: LICENSE CLARIFICATION- 34 replies

Help with advanced editing (Trying to modify spotting distance)
flyingmadpakke posted a topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
I'm making a mission in which you control the camera of the MQ-4A-Greyhawk drone. It's flying at about 1000m altitude above an enemy base. You are supposed to identify a certain target and call a strike. The problem is the AI keeps spotting the drone, but I don't want them to do that. So what can I do to change that? I have tried editing with the advanced Eden mod, but I don't think it has the needed features. Ty :) Edit: more details on the symptoms (idk, maybe it's important). When the drone arrives you can see two patrols and some stationary dudes (more arrive by truck later). After some time they start looking up into the air in the direction of the drone (This is what I interpret as them spotting the drone). A little while later they break patrol and crouch/go prone while still looking in the direction of the drone, but From what I can tell, they never shoot at it though. -
Hello! Today we deployed our advanced helicopter flight dynamics model to the development branch. You can find more information in the recently released OPREP, but, in short: The advanced flight model is an optional feature, which we hope will make helicopter gameplay more authentic, challenging and enjoyable to master. You can switch to the advanced flight dynamics model in Game Options (section General) and try it with each helicopter we have currently in game. Please be so kind and share with us your experience! We're specifically looking for feedback on these these topics: Flight Experience - behavior and handling of helicopters GUI- layout customization, lucidity, informativeness etc. Controls - schemes usability, customization, controllers issues and related But we are grateful for all for your valuable, constructive and civil feedback. Oh, and don't forget, this is just a first step and we are still working on the RotorLib functionality, alongside the other key features of the Helicopters DLC. Happy flying!
