    Thanks for all your hard work xeno. It is really appreciated over the years. Arma3 is slowly dying for me - not much drive to play it anymore. BIS have dropped the ball by not announcing something bigger (with a 4 in it - as you said)

    Hmmm that is wierd. I used TADST launcher for my dedi ... really useful for changing all server parameters. On the Altis version, I get 47-48FPS (on server) almost constantly, with very little rubberbanding (if at all)

    Hi @Blind Willie. That does sound like a server being flooded with traffic. Do you run a launcher or commandline for your dedi ?

    One thng that is a little annoying (that I hope you can fix) is ... I get money and exp when in a vehicle with my AI (when they kill a baddy) but if I use my team as infantry I don't get any cash or exp. Sure, if _I_ kill a baddy I get the exp, but is there a fix, as it does cost to make the AI ... I'm happy for them to be much more expensive IF I get money and exp for their kills (as I am leading them after all!) If they were much more expensive you'd think twice about losing them. Back to playing :) TOP TIP ladies and gents ... if you see 'a bomb has been planted' message then rush back to your base! I've now lost 2 games because I didn't take it seriously ! @genesis92xare some AI tasked with returning to the base when you get overrun ? Last thing ... I'm sure that the AI are breaking the Geneva convention ... if you are incapacited they CONTINUE to fire until you definately ARE dead - would it be possible for AI to not fire at incapacitated enemies (ie ME when I'm downed - at least then I'd get a chance to see if the Dissension revive function worked !!) EDIT: Further playtesting (this time as OPFOR) - our base was overrun by baddies and they managed to blow up the barracks!! The commander SHOULD have prioritised rebuilding it, but didn't (building a static bay instead). Not seen the new barracks put up - 30 mins now.

    Hi @genesis92x. Been playtesting (and enjoying) v1.2 No lag anymore (yay) and action just as intense (double yay). Just noticed an issue (nto sure IF it is Arma3 or Dissension however) - I was clearing a grid when the grass around me went in deep shade (the edges were square!) when I cleared the square is stayed in shade until I moved away then it went back to normal light colour. Still seeing some troops stationary after some time. Wasnt able to go over to them to check IF their lack of movement was becuase they were wounded or in a static or just bloody minded !

    Although me server isn't on 24/7 I'm getting a lot of people playing Dissension ! Looking forward to updates! PS parachute fix is working great for me - no slowdowns now.

    Going from NonSteerable to Steerable for parachutes seems to fix the issue of FPS drop. Looking forward to the stuck vehicles/troops code (tankbuster posted something a while back)

    I know that we can press J to give us hint about the active town, but a more visual way (3D icon visible for 5 secs) would help. Pressing J shows EVERY area, not just the one of interest. Back to testing :)

    Try the fix that @damsous said. I've not seen any slowdown yet, but still no paratroopers .... in fact let me restart the server to see.

    Have opened Dissension up and am trying the NonSteerable to Steerable fix to see if that makes a difference. Would you believe I've seen no parachutes called for (except the ammobox ones taht we have to collect). Will let you guys know IF I see a slowdown. MAN this mission is brutal .... makes no diference if you are infantry, armoured or air ... you get nailed IF you are stupid. I'm loving it. Found an error .... 'Variable 'dis_vehtv' does not support serialisation'. Also still seeing problems with AI teams not moving (this time a scout of BOBCAT team - on his own) was standing by a set of containers. He didnt move for the hour that I was wathing him. Also the AI commander (guerilla type) was very slow to act if at all. Further playtesting. On respawn it is interesting that there is quite a noticeable lag BEFORE the Arsenal UI comes up. I've also noticed that sometimes the OPEN TABLET disappears (luckily comes back when you press Esc and go command interface) Did I say I'm loving it? Getting to hate the AT when I have my lovely vehicles :) PS BOBCAT is STILL at the containers :)

    Found another issue. Commander makes a group, and for whatever reason they (or the group leader) decides to get into a static MG. Now the group are given move orders to take a grid, but they cannot move as the group lead is mounted in the gun.

    Is there any fix for that first paradrop then? ... it really wrecks the FPS. You know, I think I've seen this problem in other missions a LONG time ago (as I've been around here for quite a bit!) Will do some digging.

    Something is seriously wrong with parachutes. When they are present (tested on Alits and Tanoa) there is zero frame rate. They will halt for about 20 seconds then float down about 3m. ONLY when they are moving do the enemy move. You can put lots of bullets into the enemy but only when the parachutes move will they die.

    Have you thought of releasing that script (in mod form) that allows tanks/vehicles to autoattack? I think it would go down very well mate !

    The mission is BRUTAL .. and I love it. You just cannot just rush into an AO. In the early days there were LOT of reinforcements that went to the AO ... but I'm not seeing this with the latest version. We aren't able to recruit to HC yet as well ... I'm sure you'll sort that in time. Right ... back to playing it :)

    I installed it on my dedi and have been playing it for about 30 minutes. Intially the server was a little bogged down (as I could see an enemy jet rubberbanding and an enemy paradrop hung in the air for about 2 mins - this is prolly my server rather than the mission however!) Once they were dead the gameplay was superb. I did come across a problem with incapacitated enemies UNDER the water. It looked like an enemy mortar team had setup under the water. There were hit my an explosion that just incapacitated them and all the friendlies kept firing at the water (to kill them). Of course the rounds weren't penetrating the water, nor were the wounded dying eventually. Apart from that, so far, LOVING IT. it has indeed been worth the wait @genesis92x. I recommend everyone to try this mission.
