I'm also very interested in the Lynx... For a long time one of my favourite aircraft, I've actually seen them being made too. What kind of loadouts can we expect to see on it?

looks ugly to me, but the rotors on it are sweet thought, that's what gives it its speed. Fastest helicopter in the world. MMMmmmmm..... sweet rotors

What kind of load outs can we expect to see on it?

Im guessing the common load out. Although never seen it armed with anything but some MG's on the sides. Wikipedia seems to give some info on load outs. I don't expect something big on it, Maybe something to give some small support like what the Venom can do

Looking at this picture it seems to have a rocket pod on one side, and a cannon or machine gun pod on the other. Also see this one for the cannon pod.

All I ever see them have was a gimpy door gunner and two rocket pods, the thing on the pics that some have said is a cannon could just be a radar techno thing that fighter planes have on there noses.

I'm sure do not buy dlc but marek, if you read this post, you and your team create very long coop campaign or sp and sell it , 2 3 dollars, and i'll pay.

i prefer play at a good campaign to see a bad movie on dvd.

Yes, having a COOP campaign would be a huge selling point for me. If we are to pay for this DLC, then the campaign should be playable in COOP, unlike EW which was a pure SP experience but that was free.

If this was any other community forum I would be less than hopeful but at least we know that BIS actually pay attention to their customers.

That Lynx photo shows a cannon pod yeah and I would assume there's a rocket pod on the other side, will we get a naval sub hunter version as well I wonder? :)

Also, if we are getting any kind of UK SF units in this pack will they have ridiculous facial hair as they tend to in pretty much every other game/film/book?

I'm sure it will, everything but MBT's get interior most likely due to fact that passengers can see the driver and everyone else in some APC's.

You missed the point of my post. Which I thought was fairly clear from the second question in it.

Steam is not aware I own ARMA 2 or OA, so will I be able to purchase the DLC from Steam? If I can purchase it what will Steam then do with the DLC? Will it require me copying the data from my Steam directory to my retail install?

They listed download services that may expect the game content to be in a location it wont be, or expect me to purchase the game for which the DLC is made from them, when I already own a retail copy of the game.

Get me now?

Steam probably wouldn't work for you, but Sprocket will. I own the boxed version of ArmA II and the Sprocket version of OA, and they work fine together. Sprocket does not expect the game to be in a particular location, it only gives you the installer and the compressed data, you then install that wherever you want.
