I'll be doing a "as-I-play-it" first impressions video with me commenting on it tonight when OA unlocks, showing the first launch, looking at any changes to the main menu, playing a few training missions and maybe even playing a bit of the campaign before I inevitably have to call it a night. Hopefully I'll start uploading them to my YouTube channel before I go to sleep. After that I'll be doing a campaign playthrough (until I get bored :p ) and then probably messing around with the new announced features, as well as any possible surprises. :eek:

On-topic: I doubt I will get a response, but can I ask if anyone has been able to see any of the new scripting commands (other than those Rommel posted) or other new editing features? Specifically, is there anything related to weapon zeroing?

No British units and no Black Element units currently in OA. That's confirmed. Therefore it's more than likely that they'll be future DLC.

Bought it this noon just got home from work, installed it and played one single mission (Lasershow).

OA runs on my machine (quad4; 8GB ram; GTX285; Windows 7 64 bit)way smoother than ARMA2. The reloading textures i get in ArmA 2 are almost gone!

Of course there is THE BI WEAKNESS even the biggest hater has to admit that "the other game" did one thing right and that where the sounds!

Sprocket version is actually supposed to unlock in 3 hours 39 minutes, which is 17:00 PM EDT on the 28th.

I'm waiting for the Steam version. I ordered ARMA1 with Sprocket and I needed to re-install it after many years and they could not find my order so I'm screwed and cant play the orginal arma anymore. That doesn't happen with Steam.
