So I'm trolling by saying they'd just move on to an actual release instead of a delayed Alpha? Thanks for the infraction, Max Dickhead.
-
Needs to have a "Never" option.
-
A further delay, he means. If the game was set to release around Q2/3 2013 before these events, it's probably tentatively planned for 2014 now. I just don't see them releasing a game with Lemnos and the small island while these events are taking place over it. And if the situation is not resolved positiively.....no real telling what would happen.
-
I doubt the game will be spoken of again before the events are resolved. Which also precludes an Alpha sadly...

Confirmed features now cancelled - your thoughts?
hamm replied to shephart's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
I won't look for the post, but I remember a dev saying that fastroping wont be in the game as their PhysX implementation doesn't include "string physics", for ropes etc. Which also means towing ropes is out of the question... -
There is no "underground" anything in ArmA3. Not as far as we know anyway.
-
Could someone please start another thread since the OP for this one is being obtuse?
-
This wouldn't be an issue on it's own but it seems both opposing factions use the same set of armor (fictional merkavas with different camo schemes). We haven't seen any non-merkava armor yet, other than that one screenshot with some advanced Russian? tank.

Personally I'm disappointed by 4 main things: - No 3D Editor. - No Deferred Shading. - No AI improvement beyond the scope of OA betapatches. - No improvement in AI behavior related to grass. I like the lighting improvements but think they're missing the point, as the problem with lighting is that it doesn't accomplish it's gameplay tasks. Green filter NVGs, non-sun/moon lights going through objects etc. I do like: - The animations. - PhysX (if it's implemented) - The improvement to the gear system.

Should give it a rest in my opinion. We've seen what the presentation essentially has to offer and should probably just wait for BIS to upload high quality, more detailed ones to their channel. The Doupe.cz video is better quality than anything we'll see from Gamespot.

This is what I'm basing that assumption on: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?135429-Army-of-the-Czech-Republic-DLC&p=2163632&viewfull=1#post2163632

Great to hear, was really worried there for a second, since the E3 presentation looked much smoother (so did the trailers)
-
I'm assuming that video is running on a rig similar to this one? Without PhysX, no action going on...20 FPS :(
-
Definitely getting this, but it's disappointing to hear the maps will be exclusive to DLC owners (unlike Shapur and Proving Grounds) since it probably means the maps won't be adopted in multiplayer...

Someone please explain who the Booster guy is and what he said?
