Hey guys, I am not a modder, but what about a Tom Clancy's Endwar mod,( I am sure you have at least played it or read up about it)

its got 3 factions, really cool looking units (sure, its not such a great game, but arma 2 could do justice to the setting.)

Imagine the campaigns that could be made with the theme,

so if any of you fantastic modders are bored or looking for inspiration... look up EndWar.

sure, the game looks a bit non realistic, but its set in 2020 and could be a great mod

steele6 - BIS made XM8 in few variants, please use "this add weapon ...." in editor, there should be 3 or 4 XM8 in game

I have a request of my own, I know with the ARMA 2 Engine that Picture-In-Picture is impossible, would there be anyway to mod this in?

I remember that a guy actually achieved that he made soldiers watching porn on TV inside a hangar :eek: ( i'm not joking, i read this few weeks ago in another topic where they were talking about render to texture )

NO, it is not possible to have render to texture (or as you said picture in picture), unless you do some dll changes etc etc. Conclusion: not worth it, not possible, unless BIS does the changes themselves. Will it be in OA? I doubt it

How about some U.S. Navy NWU units? They would be a great supplement to the existing U.S. Navy LHD deck crew in ArmA 2.

All that would be required is a simple texture re-skin/re-color of the existing USMC Officer unit, and some minor texture-related detail changes, such as changing/removing the EGA from the uniform textures.

I just keep failing at my attempts to get these to work in Arma2 without errors and glitches.

They wont even run, some error in cfgvehicles needs a } and arma2 fails to load.

@Laqueesha - you are right

it would be good to have such full set of US forces

BIS made marines

BINK made ACU

it would be good if someone will do other camo

tricolor DCU

airforce digital tiger

navy camo

and than we will have full set, i double your request , such full representation of US forces (as i did with Polish forces) would be good

such navy man could be real crew for ship or in port base, while USAF guy would be guard in airbase in missions etc.

the reason they don't work for you is because your not adding the right ARMA 2 config in (copying & pasting the PBO just doesnt do it..), most of those vehicles are useing OFP & ARMA 1 config (Like the challenger) I rewrote my own config for the challenger and it seems to work now minus the turbo not working, I'm almost finished with it though.

hi, current russian characters look rustic. am feeling more new russians addon. also for glory of russian designs, all new character model please be sprung from jail of an artist's mind. thanks to taker of such challenge.

I would like to see all the Russian stuff added to either the independent or the BLUFOR team, still have them as OPFOR aswell but add them to one of the factions so they can work alongside the US and other BLUFOR stuff.

I think if you group a blufor unit and set probability of presence to 0 then the rest of the group (russians) will be blufor, or something along those lines.

I think the Lynx is a must for any British mods.

Have a look at the RKSL stuff,

RKSL Studios

They had their Lynx in A1 and I guess we will see it in A2 at some point

russian paratrooper addon is in works. adds things like radiopack, ushanka, vest to new characters.

but would also like to see the winter clothing worn in chechnya campaign.

My favourite maps from OFP and I'd love to play warfare on them. I'm aware that Everon was released and it's really fun (brings back memories of the good ole' days).

I was wondering if anybody is working on currently porting them over?
