BI Forums downtime

We've successfully resolved the migration issues we were having and will thus turn off these forums at noon today GMT to complete a second migration attempt, fingers crossed this will be the last one!

Estimates are currently that the forums will return, all fresh and shiny sometime Thursday 9th April.

I think it means the other laptop is broken, if you hit the screen with a hammer/rock does it show the BIOS screen on booting?

New Forums bug:

- Quick reply form at the bottom of threads stays gray and I can't write in it (even if i click icons above it) I use FF 3.0.8

- My PMs Older than 12/2008 have disappeared (but not big deal)

Edit: Pms are there now, strange...... i could swear at first log-in all of them before 2009 were gone....

- Also, Signature Size with 500 characters is to less, my old signature i can't update the links in it (which are broken now too).

Looking forward to (other) style(s) (enhancements) etc though;

Maybe an optional non-fluid style? 2560 pixels wide or resizing the window; both are not ideal :)

For which res are the forms etc optimized? I wouldnt mind them somewhat wider, esp the reply-editor :)

(Also as other have put forth; 24h time-clock possibility would be awesome too :))

There are problems with the main board that I described in this picture:

Basically, it seems that the format of some of the boards are wrong. I assume that you'll be able to follow the arrows and understand the screenshot, but if not tell me and I can explain it.

BI news, general, and offtopic is visible, but the arma 2, armed assault and ofp parts are just blue and does not show latest posts preview.

I've an issue with my avatar.

I'd like to use this image which is 80x78 px and 13.59 KB large.

Therefore it doesn't breach the max allowed limits.

Yet it still gives me "Remote file too large" error while attempting to use it.

When I try to upload the file it always scales it down by 1 pixel, no matter what size it is, effectively busting the PNG transparency.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 9.8 KB (whichever is smaller).

It would be nice if some of the more pointless tabs were removed or made less visible.

Like the Calendar for example.

But it's still a huge improvement even if it's been a bit slow today.
