Well lobbying is nothing new and IIRC one study showed that for every dollar spend on lobbying some companies got $220 in tax benefits. Power, profit and greed corrupt people.

Just a matter of how professional "Bread and circuses" are made and staged into public. Some "revealing" or "secret" stuff is also bollocks to please conspiracy nuts.

The Obama Deception was a great Video, also hows anyone feeling about the NDAA bill that passed. If you didn't like that you should see the UN ATT. United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The Head of the NRA put them in their place on this one. Ya know I'm seriously surprised that no one as of yet has posted a Mission about FEMA camps lol. Speaking of which anyone see where a US Navy Seal Sniper is Claiming that he was in a bar with Jesse Ventura and was telling a greaving family that he was glad that seals died and then this guys supposedly punches Jesse Ventura in the face and then Runs off. This Seal went on Bill Oreily and other FOX News stations making this accusation. Hows that for slander. Former Governor of Minnesota And Ex-Navy Seal saying that hes glad seals died... How much horse dump is FOX News willing to spit? I don't know I don't even watch TV and haven't in years due to all the Horse Dump.

Yeah man everything feels so completely wrong to me. If you like to read . . . I can recommend Naomi Klein's book "The shock doctrine" it's worth a read believe me. I got a lesson in disaster economy which left me stunned and apalled. It is quite an eye opener and it makes me feel sick and at the same time very angry. The worst is that so many people are still asleep behind the wheel.

I don't watch TV since 15 years now so don't worry you don't miss nothing.

Here's quite a statement from a person who worked for the CIA, concerning US foreign policy in the Middle East. I couldn't agree more with him.

Jesse Ventura wasn't a SEAL - he was part of UDT, which later became the SEALs'.

rand paul's answer is far better: "I would of voted yes but I object to provisions that pertain to private property."

Civil Rights do infringe. They should simply not be needed in the first place because of logic and common sense.

Except we don't live in a perfect society, and the argument from progressives is that goverment, local, state, or federal can help in ending discrimination. And I think many would argue it has.

I think you can repeal provisions pertaining to private land and there wouldn't be any sort of "resurgence" , i think the country is starting to get past it.

Ron Paul's beef with the Civil Rights act is that it creates requirements on employers, like making sure there's a racially diverse work force. In the free society he supports, jobs are commodities to be freely traded and bargained over; there shouldn't be a law that says you have to hire black people because if you don't you're a racist. They should be hired/fired based on their merit and competence, not skin color. If a white guy does a better job than a black guy, then why shouldn't I be able to hire him over the black guy?

To truly believe in liberty is to divorce it from any social or economic outcome.

And further on, many forms of discrimination have it's origins in not being free and government not treating everyone in the same way.

But even if you don't agree, America needs to vote for Ron Paul.

It's because of one big reason: monetary policy.

If he doesn't win, the USA is screwed, they really are. In my opinion, if he gets elected, America will have a future for it's children.

And if he wins and changes monetary policy, europe will have to change his to(or at least, the incentive will be much stronger), so I also will have a future.

Imo, he really is what the world needs now.

And if he brings the troops back, he can go to Obama's house and collect that nobel prize Obama didn't deserve.

Ron Paul has some good points but his foreign policiy is crap. Thats one reason why myself and many others will not vote for him.

It's not about points, it's about commitments. Many make points, hardly any commit to them.

America can't afford the wars.

Wheter or not you like them.

I also think they should bomb the islamic world with drones, it's f*cking idiotic. And good for nothing.

Osama Bin laden was pinned down, but they let him go, they let him escape to make the war continue for a few more years. And make the whole situation escalate.

They could have rebuild Iraq if they'd didn't destroy the old structures of the country, but no they made it mayham.

So that contracters could rebuild it, so that the american Army could disband their old material and buy new stuff.

But the American people didn't get the benifits of their foreign policy (and nor did the europeans for their policy over the past century), the eastern countries (China) now controls most of the natural resources in the world.

Going out of the UN is also not a big deal. The UN is for conflicts between countries and since most post-war conflicts are internal wars, the UN isn't effective anymore.

Also, I don't see what the UN does that you can't do by international treaties or diplomacy?

Do you really think violence in the world will have no limits if the UN would stop to exist?

I do not alway agree with Ron Paul (in my opinion the Korean war was justified and the vietnam war too, but as always they f*cked up at execution)

Anyhow, even if you don't concur with what I wrote here, I still don't get it, why would you vote for someone who's going to make you poor, dependend and endangers the future of your children?

This aint 1950's -this is now. But yeah, no need to protect those that previously had their liberties infringed upon like no other (cept Natives) in our Nation....
