DrBobcat 0 Posted October 4, 2004 @DrBobcat: this is an excellent pack but please dont compare addons. Both packs have their advantanges and giving a score to them is just not fair. Yeh. I know. I have both packs on my pc and mix and match them as I please. They are both two different styles of addons and both are great. Both are good for different situations. I just was saying that I like the combat ones better as they seemed to have better textures and they were avaliable in desert. When I need an avenger or an ambulance, I cant go anywhere else for one but FK and thats ok with me. Anyway....my point is, I wasnt razzing anyone particular. That aint cool, I agree Out

ni-mh 0 Posted October 4, 2004 Dont think this was mentioned before and didnt find it in the readme, but there seems to be a bug with the damage textures as seen below: the windows to the right of the HMMWV appear bright when damaged
Pappy Boyington 0 Posted October 5, 2004 theres another bug, but its a limitation so i wont dare complain about it. matter of fact it doesnt even matter, just wanted to mention the "empty" casings from the Mk19 every 4th or 5th one stays visable for awhile and it moves with the gun. but i know its a hidden selection/set object with the gun to give it that effect so i wont complain, it very nice

stgn 39 Posted October 5, 2004 comparing it to a photo and comparing it to a scaled photo is two different thnigs  Then you scale photos are out of scale. just look at these pictures: An no way can resize the pictures to look like yours you will have to bend and inlarge things to make em fit. you can see that the tires on yours are abit too big and the front is not curvy enough atleast the front of yours is too high up it should be lowered along whit the supension. Note I actualy likes this addon I just think there is a couple of things there need to be fixed. STGN
tankieboy 0 Posted October 5, 2004 We had this problem with the PUKF Landies. Its sorted now. Well, how did you sort it out? As you asked so nicely. I told our guy DeLiltMon who made our rovers of your problem. His reply was that he removed the wheels from the geo lod. He is happy to help out further.
DeLiltMon 0 Posted October 5, 2004 Yup, as Tankie said, removing the wheels seems to stop the shaking, I still get some shaking on the Land Rovers but only when the gun is traversed to it's limit left or right and the gunner just touches the side of the rear loadbed of the landy but it's a damn sight better than it was and you hardly notice it when the landy is on the move  I haven't downloaded any of your newly released addons yet as I've spent the weekend reinstalling everything on my machine and all last night attempting to put my addon collection back together I'll be downloading it tonight so I'll have a look at it and see if it's the same problem we had with the Landies

m21man 0 Posted October 5, 2004 Quote[/b] ]you can see that the tires on yours are abit too big and the front is not curvy enough The tires are too big?!? The front isn't curvaceous enough?!? My God, this addon must be awful!
hmmwv 0 Posted October 5, 2004 I´m one of the most fanatic man of the humvee in the world (maybe the most :P ) and all I´ve to say is that the scale and all their proportions are correct.
Bobcatt666 0 Posted October 5, 2004 I repair theses in reallife even own a M998-A1, and out of the aviable humves theses are the most correct ones out there. If the tires had the radial tires tread seeing they are 2 inches taller than the bias-ply tires. Seeing its a new model from scratch verses the overly reworked BIS humvees in 20 different packs. Getting information on these damn things is near impossable becaus the military field at least 40 + different varrients of the HUMMWV, hell I'm still seeing the original M998s running around just getting updates as they come back from Afganistan or Iraq. Lots of them where in storage in Kuwait and unupgraded having been stored for 10 years after the first gulfwar. Don't like them don't download them...... Heatseeker 0 Posted October 6, 2004 Their great, i like the engine sound alot and the desert textures and weapons, these + FK's satisfy all my hmmwv needs perfectly, congrats on yet another nice addon pack  and thank you for all your hard work  . edit: And my personal small nitpick is the the M240b sound, i like the COMBAT! Bradley M240 sound better but thats problably just me .
Placebo 29 Posted October 6, 2004 http://www.tacticalblunder.com/~uploads/sniper_skull/dumbass2.JPG Don't know about the scale but to me that looks like flaming, please refrain
