Landwarrior87 0 Posted July 2, 2003 How can we give BAS money? All this deveolpment I think they deserve donations, not a ridiculous amount, just like 10 Pounds / $17 sort of figure. Paypal do a donations service dont they? Edit: Pound Sign changes to -> £ you've got to be fkin kidding me... lol their good... but.. give donations for what? personally id just buy Delta Force: Black Hawk Down.. but why if ppl wil stop playing it in another year and bas is making mh60's and delta's for a game that will still be played even when the sequel is out. Tigershark_BAS 0 Posted July 3, 2003 I know this is highly unlikely but is there any chance you would consider making a regular UH-60 version of the Blackhawk out of your new model? I don't know how much work it would take but if all you did was change it from black to green, swap the minigun for an M2 and maybe lower the armour a bit, I doubt it would take that long. The reason I ask is that having to make do with the BIS UH-60 for 'regular' missions while having a top notch, accurately modelled MH-60 available for spec ops would be really frustrating. Â Â There will be an announcement made about this around the time of release.

PFC_Mike 2 Posted July 3, 2003 Who was it in BAS who had the truly low-end machine? Someone should take up a collection to buy him something halfway decent.

Cpt. FrostBite 0 Posted July 3, 2003 hey, in his post SelectThis said; Quote[/b] ]The 3 major devs on this project (myself, Ebud and TJ) have been extremely busy with real life stuff which obviously takes priority, causing delays in the progress. I think that was the times they went of to spent all that money

I don't see what's all bad about contributing a little money. It's not like it would be to sponsor DeadMeats awful habits, or anything else. A small one time contribution to help even just a little bit with the server bills. But if I had the cash I'd keep it to myself and watch them suffer (I hope no one takes offence to this "DeadMeats awful habits" just a joke wich I hope all of you saw, just to let you all know pun was intended)
Guest jacobaby Posted July 3, 2003 I am pleased to announce that as with the MH47E, there will be the option to call your AI pilot in to pick you up at night. However where there was red flares marking the landing site for the MH47, there will be an IR strobe flashing for the MH60. The flash is only visible in NVG. Hope you guys dont mind that......... PitViper 0 Posted July 3, 2003 perhaps he means fast-rope
Eviscerator 0 Posted July 3, 2003 Ah, then yes there is a way to make the MH-47E fastope the guys in it with a mission editor command, im not sure on the specifics but if you download the pmc ranger path campaign on the first mission you can see it in action (and unpbo'ing it im sure you'll see how its done). Guest jacobaby Posted July 3, 2003 It may be possible to run the existing script with a WP I guess, I cant remember for now. For the MH60 there are new fast roping options, including the ability to have any number of AI squads to fast rope from choppers not in their group. I have a demo mission where 3 blackhawks approach, fast rope out their occupants in turn, and the the helos head off to the next WP while the squad of guys goes to its WP. Its really rather cool, even if I do say so myself. Also, you dont have to be in the group of the chopper to fast rope from it now..... And there are a couple other new options that you will see. blackdog~ 0 Posted July 3, 2003 Any chance you could include some 'templates' of different choppers with differerent squadron nose art (or whatever, if it's included) and a basic demonstration in the editor how to make them fastrope and do other nifty things?
