I have a suggestion.

I don't know how many actual modelers you have. But have you guys considered just scrapping the Arma 2 models for the much better AO ones? It wouldn't take that much work to reskin the AO ones with the marine camo, you could also remove features from the hmmv to better represent the simplified marine variants. This also goes with guns, and other similar objects.

Is it just me or some helicopter a cannons give script error when fired, something about missing bis_effects_heavycaliber config or something. Noticed only in editor, as in normal gameplay error reporting is disabled I guess.

 

My guess that the source of the problem is in "CUP_Weapons_Ammunition" with ammo that have this: muzzleEffect = "BIS_Effects_HeavyCaliber";

Yes, but unfortunately modelers don't grow on trees. :P

We're already in the process of replacing some models with new ones, but that takes time. Same with some weapons.

Some are still salvageable, others (Dragunov, MP5) are just obsolete.

Which helicopter? Do you have other mods loaded?

Ah-64D, Super Hinds. Got ACE along with compatibility patches for CUP and ACE. That and the DragonFyre sound mod along with some other random mods. Will do more testing later.

You can't just go adding other things to a mod.  Not how it works.

 

If you want to fly flankers in CUP, you might want to try these:

Hi,

 

On Zargabad's map there are 2 construction cranes that are not at the right height

Just near the airport, on the construction site.

Why not join the team and help? Then you can have anything you want in the game.

But i have a question, i dont now if someone here post it but 

i can't find any Class name for the Vehicles list you add 

Like the A10, LHD, Frigate , SUV ...

on your wiki there is nothing with the class names 

so sorry for this but can someone here say me where i can find them ?

if in doubt, hover the mouse over the unit in the Editor's Assets list, it will pop up the class name. Or, right-click on a placed unit or units, go to "Log -> Log class names to clipboard"

You know that Marines don't use Olive Drab gear... only Coyote Brown. (simple recolor of green parts to CB via hue sliders in PS should do the job)

 

But this all is just FYI. Take it or leave it. Enjoying the CUP as is already.

Standard issue, yes, however personal procurements of gear in OD were rather common, especially for Force Recon units, when A2 was made in 2008 and prior. :)

But as with russian helmets and AK74m instead of 107, are there plans to correct the details that don't require substantial time investment?

Like the black boots on one of the Marine uniforms? Or are you still primarily doing ports?

Yes, the A2 uniforms need either improvements or remodeling, we'll see.
