PTV-Jobo 820 Posted April 23, 2013 Well, it currently works for me, plus I even tested an old favorite coop via the editor (Operation Hesiod on Cherna) with all ArmA 2 units and while it lagged a bit (I guess because of A2 scripts and whatnot) it worked quite well. Quite curious about MP now. :) Same. I just got aia working yesterday (had to redownload a2) and its really been a blast! The lighting and new effects really add a lot of depth to arma. With that said, I'm DEFINITELY interested in what can be done multiplayer wise. Are there any servers really running? I caught one in playwithsix once and haven't seen any. I mean, there was a good bit of players that had combined ops or ran other mods like ace on multiplayer servers in oa; I can imagine the demand could definitely be there. If people knew we could pretty much be playing the full game (or a very, very good placeholder till) right now with this mod, I'd say a lot of us would jump on it. For those of you who have it working, what's your modline look like? Trying to determine whether it's a conflict with another mod or if it's a problem with the addon or my modline. I'm trying to use the ingame mod manager + Arma3Alpha.cfg file instead of using a modline. OrLoK 20 Posted April 23, 2013 Hello there Just FYI, when I use no other mods, I'm having a fine old time playing many "standard" A2 missions with no issues *and* with A2 infantry. (whch seem to now ragdoll!) (Patrol Ops, Flashpoint, etc) This is with using PWS. If I use other A3 mods I do get the occasional crash to desktop. Thanks for your hard work. :) I can attest that the above works. But why does -skipIntro solve the problem? That's what I want to figure out. Your pistol cursor doesn't work because for some reason you can't look through the pistol sights, yet the game still makes the cursor disappear when doing so. Unless things change per mission. The saw/m60/ could be fired with near pinpoint accuracy regardless of stamina level/ (standing stance). The other mg's have a little bit more variance to them but they also suffer from no penalties after movement. In my noobish eyes it appears as if all(if not most) shots are dead centre they just move up and down a bit with recoil. bad benson 1733 Posted April 23, 2013 Hide A3 infantry and vehicles from the editor. :( would it be possible to find a compromise? i started working on some custom insurgents and civs for chernarus and a port of the russian arma 2 example soldier as uniform head gear and vest objects, so i would really appreciate being able to use arma 3 infantry on the old terrains. does only combining infantry cause problems or vehicles too?
