Hellhound 10 Posted January 6, 2012 I never have music turned on in any game that i play, in fact it's the first thing i turn off after setting the video options. And in this game especially it has no place when it comes to realism.

nuxil 2 Posted January 6, 2012 I never have music turned on in any game that i play, in fact it's the first thing i turn off after setting the video options. And in this game especially it has no place when it comes to realism. i find the music in arma|arma2|oa verry good compared to the music in Toh, which sounds like music from a bad porn movie. i just hope the standar is on same level as A2|OA in A3, if it will be like Toh. i will also turn it off :p

froggyluv 2136 Posted January 8, 2012 You have to love the musical disparity, erhm, tastes on this page from Saliva to Orgazmo to fullblown classical orchestra. Gotta admit I laughed hard at the thought of inserting by helo to that Orgazmo theme. Gold.
Fenrisulven 1 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) I vote for Ondrej Matejka. I love the soundtracks of A2 and OA. Sets the mood perfectly. Other then that, my favorite game music composers are Joris de Man (Killzone) and Jeremy Soule (TES series). ---------- Post added at 04:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:52 PM ---------- The God of war! I suggest you go back and read the forum rules before you do anything more stupid than writing in all capital letters and posting in the wrong thread. §12) Do not type in all capital letters, all bold, or in a non-black font Typing in all caps equates (according to standard net etiquette) to yelling. It is also difficult and obnoxious to read such posts. This also applies to posting all in bold or all in a certain font colour just to try to make your words stand out, if your point is interesting enough or well written enough it will stand out. You're welcome of course to use different colours for parts of your post if it helps clarify certain areas, but typing complete messages in any colour other than black should be avoided. KillerBunny 0 Posted January 14, 2012 Frankly I don't like the ArmA series soundtrack too much. I think that, while the songs may not sound bad they do sound cheap and intrusive, like they don't fit the game or the cutscenes at all. I don't usually turn off music in games but after a while I ended up doing just that in the ArmA games. It's not just the soundtrack that needs to be better but the "music placement", sometimes it's better to not have music at all or just have some low key songs playing, and in combat if the song doesn't feel suitably epic it ends up being annoying and unnecessary. IMO, we should have most of the music in the game be mostly ambient or barely noticeable songs and when there's the need for something more epic I think it should be like this: K3pnZQFxKq0 g4aPMo7TcR8 I think both of these soundtracks have lots of songs in this style and I think it fits ArmA a lot and it'd be cool to have something like this in the game but it's just my opinion I don't mean to offend anyone ;)
Nicholas 5 Posted January 14, 2012 I say use tracks from OFP. I loved the OFP soundtrack.
Clarkey1 10 Posted January 15, 2012 @Killerbunny C&C Generals soundtrack. Fuck. Yes. I think Ondrej already kind of goes for this style with some of the A2 tracks, I would love to hear more of the same really, except even better. Also for Iran: c7Z0FxWSAtg And China if they're actually playable (would be cool): qofK7SLr85Q
feralcircus 2 Posted January 15, 2012 This song could work for an end scene to a good campaign maybe... It could depict having performed many bad deeds to achieve one politically correct goal, leaving a more somber sense of triumph as I doubt any soldier returns from war feeling satisfied. More like trying to accept what's happened & adapting back to civilian life and getting to know themselves all over again. The song is written from a 1st person perspective about being blind or blinkered to the most important things in life and slowly realising your own true purpose. The lyrics are very metaphorical and can translate to almost anyone's life experiences. Whether it be war, drugs, love, hate, freedom, triumph... etc... etc... Pyronick 21 Posted January 15, 2012 We need to get that trippy synthesizer music from Cold War Crisis back. 8-gfbsu0FYY It has an peculiar and unearthy vibe which is similar to the Jesper Kyd music in the Hitman series. Just a little less psychopathic. Like these. 8uHSzAHrl7U 2d42gjrlAaY 3hJL_KrNts8
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted January 16, 2012 Silent Assassin and Blood Money are by far the best Hitman soundtracks... and you left them off? :(
ylli122 1 Posted January 31, 2012 Maybe this time have a folder called music and we can add our own custom soundtracks with ease instead of current LONG process? :D
