I created a mission in the Eden Editor and I wanted to add a little script which is going to allow me to access the virtual Arsenal in anytime I want, anywhere through the scroll wheel, and another little script which is going to disable the fatigue system and thus I could have infinite stamina. Here is the code:(the file is saved in the mission folder[Documents]) Init.sqf player addAction ["Aresenal", {["Open",true] spawn BIS_fnc_arsenal;}]; player enableFatigue False; player addEventHandler ["Respawn", {player enableFatigue false}]; So here is my problem, the script works just great in the editor when I test the mission. but when I try to host a server[not a dedicated server] It doesn't work. I'm not really good at ArmA3 scripting I'll be so happy if someone could just tell me what code should I use and where do I need to put it. I'll be happy if someone could help me, thanks...
  2. Hi everybody, A year has passed since I issued the HUD Tactical glasses V 2.3 Thanks to all of you who took time to play with this add-on and feedback for improvement. This add-on is a pack of tools such as AUTO-REPACK, FATIGUE MANAGER, ENHANCED GPS, ENHANCED MAP TOOLS, TACTICAL ICONS, ARSENAL TEST, HALO JUMP,.. and much more! (details below and more info in readme.txt) Forget the "too heavy backpack" penalty, adjust Zeroing, use map tool for MK6 mortar computing, treat yourself at full with a 2nd FAK, auto repack your magazines,...   3. Hello. How do I remove the newly implemented 1.54 Fatigue - Stamina - Weight system? This is not an opinion poll whether you like it or not, I'm not interested at all. Oh how I miss player enableFatigue False; player addEventHandler ["Respawn", {player enableFatigue false}]; I've been reading through this: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Stamina Thank you for any solutions you may provide.

    Stamina Draining

    Upon starting the encounter, my stamina cap begins to lower until halfway; similar to radiation damage with the zig-zag pattern.
  5. Just played the game a little bit for the first time and I´m impressed how good it already feels. First two toughts, did you concider to add a stamina meter and falling damage in the future? Feels a little weird to jump from roofs and run endlessly without breaking sweat.
  6. Is it possible to make a script that disables fatigue loss only when jogging with your gun up? I am referring to the running stance in which your weapon is down, but not fully, so that it is still visible when looking straight ahead. I still desire fatigue costs for all other actions such as sprinting and vaulting.
  7. Hi folks! My first Arma 3 mod ever! I have increased the amount of stamina, so right now you now x6 times more stamina. The recovery speed was also increased, but only by x3 times. It strikes nice balance IMHO. Now a NATO heavy gunner, who could only sprint for a few dozens of meters, now can sprint for almost half of the Stratis runway length. I know there are mods that disable the stamina altogether, but I couldn't find a mod that would allow you to run for longer, but still keep the whole system on.   8. So a couple months ago, I noticed a peculiar (idk glitch?) Bug. When you are Running/Jogging in Arma 3 your stamina always depletes right? This is the intention of the stamina system. What is WEIRD though, is if you enter this particular stance and jog, you regen stamina as if you were walking/standing. I will post some images of a breakdown to how to do it below so you can see what I am talking about. I've never really noticed anyone else in arma using this so maybe it just hasn't surfaced popularly yet, or in fact, it is intended. GUIDE BELOW Let me know if anyone else has encountered this or finds it odd. I'm curious. :) As a basic breakdown (Don't worry video provided) I'll describe the specific stance and under which conditions it works and how to use it to your advantage. -To achieve your inner marathon champion be sure to be standing normally. Now it wont be immediately apparent, but pressing your C key will toggle you in and out of (For lack of a better phrase) what I would call Combat Running and Relaxed Running. As far as I have discovered this ONLY works in relaxed running. So be sure to do some stretching and medium jogging. After you're good and comfortable go ahead and proceed! Double tapping Left Control will enter you into a more relaxed stance. (Of course in preparation for all that good hustling to the objective) After being as relaxed as you can use your movement keys W and A to run AND regenerate stamina Here is a video demonstrating the technique. Simple Example of using running technique If you don't quite catch what is happening in the last ~10 seconds of the video - watch the stamina bar and how each direction I move USES Stamina EXCEPT for in that particular movement formation. You should only need to use this technique intermittently. Only for 15-30 seconds depending on how much stamina you need. Wrapping UpNow I know this "tutorial" breaks it down in a very simple and out of drill situation, BUT getting comfortable with this method is extremely helpful (Especially for those of you carrying 30-35 kg) and quicker than you might think. TL/DR Essentially all you have to do is left CTRL twice, Press C, and start moving with W and A so you run diagonally Left and regen stamina. CONS: - Makes running tactically a bit wonky (You're basically jogging at an angle) (Please for the sake of squad mates Do NOT prioritize this over anything essential to unit cohesion, communication and combat effectiveness.) - Makes looking around a bit off center - General formation, running, and positioning disarray can happen easily if you aren't aware of what direction you are moving (because from my experience it is easy to misguide your direction) - Can only be done standing - Can only be done with your gun DOWN leaving you less able to quickly react PROS: - FREE Stamina! - Overall Mobility enhancement - Works on ALL terrain EXCEPT for Inclines greater than roughly 45 degrees BUT WAIT it still doesn't drain stamina: It simply stops regen until you get to more level ground.   9. Is there a parameter to enable/disable the stamina bar indicating you current stamina pool? I would like to force enable it for mercenary.
