It also leads to less random explosions. The Heli VR tutorials in which you have to make a sliding landing with the little bird always led to me exploding with the normal FM.
-
That is unrealistic.

No? I don't think these things have anything todo with one another.

"While the exact direction isn't final, we're very much interested in exploring an interesting and unique perspective on the battlefield" They aren't dead set on a direction, so we might be able to influence their decision.

I'm more excited for an actual radar system etc. No more Tab-spam fighting. :)

Hitting near objects when Line-of-site is clear down scope to target

It happens indeed IRL too as demonstrated by Abu Hajaar multiple times in this video from Vice: https://youtu.be/aM3ElTvF52I?t=2m23s -
They probably did, however as far as I know they don't want to include things from other authors, when you can easily launch Toadies NIArms or SMA with the Bwmod.
-
I don't think so, the Bwmod hasn't enough developers and there isn't any specialization on SOF equipment. If you see something from the BWMod it's probably standard equipment.

Cause other games aren't Arma and don't need that much CPU resources like Arma does?

The reason why only Arma performs that way in these benchmarks, is that AMD drivers have a more CPU overhead and since Arma is already CPU dependent you have even less fps then nvidia cards. There is nothing BIS can optimize for AMD and it has nothing to do with Gameworks, so get that conspiracy out of your head.

ADR-97 Official Mod Server Key not added on Official Servers
heavygunner replied to fschuurman's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
You don't need to equip it on a server, you can use the Editor or the Virtual Arsenal. They probably won't add the P90 to the server, because they want to keep the official servers vanilla.- 1 reply

Is it only me, or is the reload of the AKM and the AKSU really fast?
-
Well I made a short test drive on Tanoa and it seems better for me, atleast the trees aren't changing the whole time.

Disappointed with lack of Interactability on Tanoa
heavygunner replied to daveallen10's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Frankly, if you really didn't like that the interiors aren't there, you should have raised your voice when it was announced MORE than half a year ago, not a month before a release. -
I don't know if it's the lack of an SSD in my computer, but I have terrible LOD issues and the textures beyond 50 meters look terrible.
-
Maybe it's a limitation that has too do with HBAO+ still being a kind of Screen Space Ambient Oclussion? Then the only solution would be another kind of AO like Nvidias new Voxel based AO, which has other problems.

Switched to 362 after I had 12FPS in Wasteland 2 and 22FPS in War Thunder... Hopefully they will release a new one Soon or atleast a hotfix.

Going back to the topic of 64bit, Dwarden recently said that there is 64bit WIP and he just done it again: https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/188154-ram-management-serious-question/?p=2999687

If they use DX12, you can still use DX11, so nobody is forcing you.

RAM Management - Serious Question
heavygunner replied to I give up's topic in ARMA 3 - DEVELOPMENT BRANCH
Quite sure they sed a dedicateed graphics. Also RAM defintely helps in most games, when you are limited by the CPU, which ofc isn't the case in most games. Arma however is mostly CPU limited as you know. As an example they made some tests with the I5 2500K and different RAM, which gave more FPS in CPU intensive games/moments. -

Bratwurste always refuses to acknowledge things if you have actual proof. Just like in here: https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/156993-arma-3-cpu-vs-ram-performance-comparison-1600-2133-up-to-15-fps-gain/?p=2895044
