    Ravage

    @OldDogMeat, based on your post here are a few suggestions, You can tailor your own Ravage experience with the modules that come with the demo mission, you can disable radiation, increase loot spawn, and lots more besides, here is a link to a cool tutorial to help with all of that... If you are finding the zombies in Ravage a little overwhelming, you most definitely need this in your life, https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/174788-arma-enhanced-movement/.....quite simply a game changer.

    With that in mind.......while i appreciate the work that goes into weaponry and transport, would creating standalone environmental soundscapes be something of interest to you? Someone with such a talent for creating such stunning ambience, It would be fascinating to see you turn your hand to something like a Post Apocalyptic setting....... :pray:

    Greetings LJ, The environmental tapestry you've created here is just stunning, varied and rich wherever you are on the map. I selected a unit in the editor (no guns) and just absorbed the soundscape......beautiful. Thank you.

    Hey corporal_lib[br]......so the benchmark's been set, very well done. :clap: Still not completed the mission myself yet, I do love Arma.....i'm just really shit playin' it. With regards to mission tweaking......i still believe you had an epiphany when you created "A Mission". It's a class act as it is. Hell yeah. ^^

  11. I have already had some help on this via PM's from some very patient forum members.....but it's clear I still have a lot to learn....... I am happy to wait for this....... ;)
  12. I almost have a working version which will add new day,night,wind and rain sounds, my problems are trying to write the configs without getting errors when launching Arma. I am close.....but no cigar yet. Enthusiasm high, knowledge limited
  13. More than happy to see this thread pop up.... I'm currently trying to put together a Post-Apocalyptic soundscape for Arma 3 and it has been quite a struggle to garner some up to date information on sound modding/implementation. Many thanks for putting this out there.

    [SP] Ravage - A Mission

    Congrats for the release of "Ravage - A Mission"....... I find this quite statement quite remarkable as "Ravage - A Mission" is an inspired piece of work. If any of you guys enjoyed "Pilgrimage" you will feel right at home here......I believe it's just as good. So it's a mission that requires your time, but once you find your first real piece of the jigsaw, you will be hooked. A perfect marriage of Story and those awesome Ravage modules. Thanks for giving me the privilege to "test" this last week, which turned out to be more a treat than a test!! Now I'm off to hunt some more......I want that full set of medals...... :459:

    I imagine it's a tough ask to pull off an open map survival mission with objectives/tasks/story.......but I can confirm you guys are in for a treat..... ;)

    Sounds more like an Arma bug than anything to do with the Ravage mod. Anyway dead corpses sinking into the ground almost sounds like poetic justice. Maybe there's no need for that "clean-up script". :P

    Add it to your missions folder which is found within your main Arma 3 folder. :)

    Improved Fatigue System

    Just stopping by to show my appreciation for this neat little modification. This one managed to passed me by, but better late to the party than not at all. It still seems to work flawlessly even after the most recent update to Stable branch. Great job flyinpenguin!!
  23. Nice touch....a neat little morale booster while out in the field.....endless "empty cans" can get a man down! .......or maybe we can have custom-made medals just for Ravage...... The Distinguished Empty Can Collector Medal. (should take about 20 mins to acheive) :P
  24. In need of a little advice/guidance please..... I can disable all ambient sound using enableEnvironment. I would like to replace with my own custom sounds. (ambience,rain,wind,etc.) This would be for use in a SP environment. I have all the necessary .ogg files, but need to know what would be the best way to execute such a task. Thank you.
