In another of this reviewers videos he had admitted he delided the i7. My reply If the CPU was delided/modified,then the i7 7700k or any other cpu, the results should be rejected or be invalid.1)The results(5ghz) cannot be achieved out of the box without being delided/modified. 2)Failure to discloses this Iv found three others who have also delided the i7 to get the 5gz+ to beat the Ryzen -

This file tells the game how many cores and threads the system’s processor supports. This settings file is stored in the Steam™ Cloud and appears to get resynced on any PC that installs F1™ 2016 from the same Steam account. Therefore: if a user had a 4-core processor without SMT, then reused that same game install on a new AMD Ryzen™ PC, the game would re-sync with the cloud and believe the new system is also the same old quad core CPU. -

The Arma 3 Apex benchmark has a weaker GPU and getting more fps ,but the ram difference is 2x more than in comparison video Weaker GPU is also at or near 100% in the Apex benchmark while the comparison video isn't In the comparison video Ryzen is using the lest amount of ram of the three 32bit and 64bit benchmarks? -

After disabling the unused cores Average cpu usage/Altis benchmark 1)52.8 2)28.9 3)36.8 4)28.2 Max cpu/thread usage Average 49.3 I also got an extra 6fps in Altis benchmark. Ill test mp later tonight 1/2 hour of mp (Breaking point 0)59.8 1)48 2)42.4 3)59.3 Cpu/thread usage average,59.0

Are you prepared to get BSOD,buy new mobo and cpu cus your bios is locked,buy new ram cus you fried it? I think we have things ass about. BIS should be fixing the performance issues not us.

"ArmA 3 benefits the most from not a "total overclock" but a singular core overclock. This means if you have the fastest core running ArmA 3's primary thread which I hope if you overclocked it ArmA 3 would just put the main thread on it. So in theory the rest of the game shouldn't slow down." I have the software to do that very thing,overclock a single core.Its used by xtreme overclockers(world records). I did read a post awhile back claiming this did work for increased fps.After getting advice from a overclockers forum and trying slight OC on a single core,I was able to OC a single core.I haven't tried OCing after that as I don't have the right cooling,at minim I need watercooling, recommended liquid nitrogen setup 5MHz and beyond.I have two AMD cpus gathering dust and once I get watercooling Ill give it a go,others might want to try now. I do see using OSD,cores 4,5,6,7 not doing much,in fact I think their asleep when playing Arma 2/3 The other reason I haven't bothered, is I replaced my 6850s with a R9 290 and spending $500 to get playable fps I find totally unacceptable.I was going to buy one anyway,but still WARNING,this will fry your cpu if you dont read the instructions and read again,and even then For those with AMD cpu,just look for "PScheck" and the instructions on how to use it.

If you have a mod/expansion enabled, disable it -
A 15fps lag fest. I got to the second mission were I had to run here, run there, get in a APC and be driven 50m before I had to get out again.So I attempted to shoot a AI at 10fps,got returned fire,killed and the only way to restart was to Ctrl,Alt,delete to kill Arma as there was no option to restart the game.Now its the same even in the editor if I die. The poll needs a minus option I play Breaking point mod at 50fps,so Im not used to playing a slideshow mission and never will be

I have the same mobo with an FX8350 and 2xHD6850.I did have until last week a HD7950 ,but it died,so the 6850s came out of retirement. Getting both of these cards to work above 30% has been a pain. Try upping the sampling rate from 100% one step at a time in the video settings tab .At each step you should see the gpu usage go up and its takes a few secs to show this.I get 70% to 80% usage on both gpus using the Altis benchmark I also changed my resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 Iv also OCed the cpu to 4.4 MHz using AMDs Overdrive. All I did was up the mutiplyer a step at a time(started at 4.2) used the apps stability test.runt Arma 3 benchmark.no crash,bumped it up a bit more etc. Once you have a OC that you are happy with,next to the green button,preferences/settings/profie/save as and give it a name and save.This way you can load your OCd setting when you want to start gaming. I watched some of the live stream and I wasn't sure what Zeus was. All I seen was placing bots about and sitting back and watching them shoot each other. Is this it,a new shinny editor for bot Vs bot?
