I couldn't find any information on this somewhere, is there a way to disable Battleye loading? Trying to run a private server with a friend but having issues due to BE - I tried editing the config file to have Battleye = 0; but it resets itself to a value of 1 every time I launch the server. I also tried adding it to the Additional Parameters section in the Performance + Scripting tab in the server profile aswell, this just makes it complain about a duplicate line and refuses to launch instead. With TADST as an example you could simply just untick a Battleye option in the client, which was incredibly handy for this situation - however FASTER doesn't have the option and I don't believe there are any launch parameters to disable BE with either- 163 replies

This is abit iffy though, as the script in the wiki for this goal gives the player 1 banknote no matter who kills the zombie, also not really very co-op friendly :P

Thank you, didn't think to look for a blacklist option in the modules - is it possible to accomplish this with a building's variable name instead so that the same buildings already placed on the terrain aren't blacklisted? If not then the classname blacklist will do, it's a rarely used building on most terrains anyway.

Is it still possible to exclude a hand placed building from having furniture and loot spawned inside of it? I remember seeing a code for this somewhere ages ago but I can't find it, if it's still possible I'd love for someone to provide the code, also suggest putting it on the "Tools for missions makers" page on the Ravage wiki

What program did you use to generate the heightfield? Never seen that of a good looking renderer for heightfield generation programs before -

@haleks Do you have any plans on making configureable bandit camps? As of right now the code for Bandit camp triggers on the wiki spawns Independent side bandits, this messes with some missions, where for example the player is playing as the Independent side and the mission maker uses the OPFOR side as bandits and other sorts of hostile survivors and BLUFOR as another hostile side

Weapon paintjobs when? Lookin' good. Can attachments accumulate rust over time aswell? Something interesting to see alongside that would be if the optical lenses got some dirt smudges buildup on them aswell over time

I also personally recommend MrSanchez' headlamps, customizeable range and update rate, and lets you wear it in the NVG slot - so you can keep it out even if youre holding a weapon, unlike a handheld flashlight http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=930264602

Oh that sucks that you lost it, tbh I would pay actual money for someone to release a fixed up version of iBuild that can be slapped into a mission either by script or by mod with modules to tweak settings. I recall trying to get it working myself half a year ago to no avail, as I have no clue how to set up all that stuff as a dude who just hosts my own from-home dedicated 3 player server for my friends to play on @HeroesandvillainsOS This so much, I played Exile about 2 years ago and loved the crap out of the building system, after that I found iBuild as the only similar standalone basebuilding mod, that isn't tied to any huge mod already

@haleks Have you got any sort of base building element planned for the future, or do you not prefer to delve into this area of features? Something like the seemingly broken iBuild would be absolutely amazing to see

Is there any way to pre-place traders with the editor or are we limited to editing the random spawn chance for them?

As I'm having issues that others mentioned with the "search" action from any source of loot disappearing after a player respawns, Is there anyone that can recommend some sort of revive script in which the player can never actually die unless he bleeds out, and only goes unconcious instead? I think a revive script like this would circumvent the whole bug, by making sure you actually can't die, unless noone is there to revive you in which case, tough luck Edit: just read Halek's comment about a hotfix for it, nevermind all this unless the hotfix will take alot of time to push out ;P Edit 2: This seems to fit the bill, for anyone else who wants to circumvent the loot searching bug after respawning (before a hotfix exists) http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=24088 I remember this used to be broken and old, but was last updated earlier this year so it should work great

REQUIRES THE UNSUNG VIETNAM WAR MOD: http://www.armanam.eu/ The year is 1968, and due to a critical mission planning error, courtesy of your CO, your squad's Helicopter has been shot down deep above the hostile jungles of the Prei Khmaoch Luong province, Vietnam. Download: Steam Workshop Mission Notes Custom Sound and Music! Change AI Skill in Mission Parameters if they feel too wallhacky through the jungle. Respawn (and basic revive) is available, after mission start you can respawn at the Helicopter crash site. After you leave the crash site you may also respawn at your squad, at your own discretion. Ammunition is limited, and you will respawn with the same gear you had when you died. Loot dead enemies, and discover supplies by wandering close to their locations. Across the first river, two checkpoints will be available for capturing. One Northern, and one Southern checkpoint. Both may be captured, but their position will only be revealed if you are nearby. This mission was designed for 3 player Co-op. If there is a demand for it in the Steam Workshop comments, I will increase the player slots :) (I'm not super active on this forum) This mission is estimated to take up to 1 hour to complete, good luck, and stay alert. After the helicopter crash you have about 1 hour until the sun sets and it gets too dark to see anything. You are invulnerable while in the starting area, before you start the mission you should NOT force respawn or you will not be able to respawn, unless you restart the mission. Third Person View is restricted in this mission for your immersive pleasure. If you have a problem with this then please teach me how to add a toggle-able mission parameter instead of whining :) Credits Uses Sil Carmikas' Random Weather script Uses kronzky's Urban Patrol Script Music courtesy of Call of Duty: Black Ops (admit the soundtrack is pretty damn good) This is my first publicly released actual mission - on Bludclot's amazing East Asian-like terrain. Tbh, would there even be any difference in functionality between this and the already existing C-130J in the mod? -
Hmm. Nice list of required mods Might want to keep it as light as possible still as some players enjoy mixing in their own mods. Perhaps if you have to you can add mission parameters to insert huge mods such as RHS and CUP units without making it mandatory.

Tried it out with a buddy, not getting any cash or XP for killing people so you get stuck having to loot dead bodies after you spend up your cash. Other than that I love it. It has amazing potential if it's further developed and would be a great competitor for zbug/Greuh's Liberation

Expect alot of AI walking through objects (ie houses and walls, etc), such is the curse of Arma 3 base building

I found a sample mission included in the Arma 3 Samples installation, however it looks like its using some new kind of unit sub-faction? called "MOUT" so it can't be loaded in this update unless those are edited into regular NATO dudes in a text editor.

Title self explanatory. Is there any way to create a marker at specified coordinates, that ONLY appears on the GPS when you're nearby, and not on the Map?

I've been trying to remove the stamina bar by removing all mentions of the HG_SHB_PF control in all files. This works, however the outline of the stamina bar rsc sticks to my screen and stays, which baffles me seeing as I removed every mention of it in every file
