I started gaming with the original AD&D eons ago, and developed paper and dice wargames for myself using resources such as Janes All The Worlds Fighting Ships for detailed accuracy during my high school years. I was also into the RPG Twilight: 2000 and Larry Bond's original Harpoon (paper and dice version). Military related books I have read include many from Tom Clancy and Larry Bond, Richard Marcinko, and Marcus Luttrell. Real life derailed my military hobby for many years, and then I discovered Arma 2 in 2009 and had fun ever since. Also been a massive 20th century history buff and into geopolitics from a ridiculously early age.
