next time please inform people sooner about the malware within wife 1.0 i have been infected by a pre beta Son or Daughter (not yet identified by AV) as is icebreakr ... :P

I'm sorry, yeah..should have done that. I'm lucky, this year i get a temporary quarantine software plugin that eases the impact of "Son pre-beta" to my performance a bit....a plugin called "Kindergarten 0.6". Sadly this plugin needs some years to activate (4 in my case).

WARNING!!

Some people tried to reinstall "Girlfriend 2.0" alongside with "Wife 1.0" but it turned out that it causes a major resource conflict and if "GF 2.0" gets detected by "Wife 1.0" the outcome is unpredictable although almost always catastrophic.

Some "advices" say the best way to deal with "Wife 1.0" is to call in some specialists to take care of the problems. Asked for names, most people recommend one of those specialists:

- Dr. Jim Beam

- Dr. Johnny Walker

- Prof. Jack Daniels

But there might be others around.

jgaz-uk: I've experienced that when I used ACE2 in combination with one older @CBA release. Try updating @CBA?

Removing the dependency would'nt be preferred either.

Preferred method is link to the mod in your installation guide, but as we discussed earlier this week, it is not ideal for some users either.

I think the least evil of all is probably including the @CBA modfolders, this will at least not make old versions of cba_extended_eventhandlers.pbo end up in your modfolder transparant to the user.

(The problem with including pbo's in your modfolder would be that the user thinks he has the latest @CBA installed, but in fact older components are loaded from your modfolder)

The true answer imo lays in dependency aware tools like Six Updater or other custom installer that would download the latest CBA, or any other 3rd party component :D

But.. I know ... broken record ;)

any chance of removing the crosshairs inside the ring on the AUG sights? cause the proper A1 hasnt got those

also the cocking handle needs to be on the left side

if you do those you got a proper A1 :D and not an aus steyr :)

Using the latest @CBA v151 (updated last Friday using the 6) when running the "Show Script Errors" get the graphics error when launching a missile (myself & others.) not running ACE.:o

Removed RHIBB insertion an went for the ATV's to get the boys into position "like a thorn in the side" ! Anyway the sout east (i think) coming from k?iebo to Ursana, as you cross the bridge there is like an invisible ramp, vehicles were fine i only noticed it on the ATV's no matter how slow i went, i popped a mono then if proceeded did a backflip which is great if this is a Crusty Demons mod :D

-rock throwing civi's sounds great.

nope. You need to update to v1.9 (from v.99) because the whole island was modified, along with units, etc. there were new units added, new aircraft, and a bunch of other stuff.

Yesterday evening we did a quick test of the updated stuff and I've packed a new version with bugfixes you've reported (not all, but many).

- fixed transparency bug on Leopard 1A5

- separated third-party addons to their @folder (so you can pick what to install)

- added CBA's Extended Eventhandlers to @cba (needed by Viggen / Missile Box addon)

- Viggen: config bugfix (tnx Sickboy/Myke) & new gray skin for Attack version

- Su-24 Fencer: config bugfix (tnx Robalo_AS)

- Steyr Aug A1 crosshair fix (tnx The_Blink)

- Steyr Aug A1 config/model optimizations (tnx NZDF Crash & Robalo_AS)

- improved terrain grid for GPS or/and ACE DAGR (tnx Robalo_AS)

- increased armor and agression of zetaborn species, they also like to scare now

- improved technology, enabled night-seeing of zetaborn species

- Krak-B Launcher now locks air and ground targets

Island now comes in two versions:

1.91 Full (405MB - island, units, required addons included)

1.91 Lite (192MB - island only, no units & 3rd party addons)

Rename @duala to @isla_duala,

Install SU, start SU, after startup, click this link: sixupdater://mod=1e6ce802-f58c-11de-9834-0021855d3b6d

Select lower half of Run Updater button, click Convert.

Wait until done, click lower half of Run Updater button again, click Install or Update.

9.81 MB only when updating 1.9 to 1.91 over su ;)

RobertHammer: no patch, as it would take like 350 megs due to changed files, and I'm too lazy to do exe version ;) Sickboy's alternative is the best way to update.
