W0lle 1052 Posted June 1, 2011 W0lle, in 1986 -1989 my Air Cav squadron in Alaska (the only such unit in all of Alaska) still had the Cobras with the 7.62mm gatling gun or the 40mm automatic grenade launcher on the swivel under the nose. And they had the dome-type cockpit, too. Otherwise, I think they looked the same as your model. Thanks for the hint, it's a bit too late though as the gun is in place. max power 21 Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) afaik proxies can't be animated so I don't think it can work and still have the barrels turning. The Ah-1Q TOW cobra wasn't featured in CWC. There are a lot of exterior and interior differences between the flat plate canopy cobras and the round canopies. There was also engine compartment and exhaust pipe differences in shape and contour. The external equipment was also very different, like this cobra has a 'laser point tracker' modelled on it and the IR jammer that were exclusive to the AH-1F. There would be no real way to convert my model into another cobra model without significant changes to the model and textures. This cobra could stand in for a Cobra E model but it still has more equipment and a different interior cockpit. Although, much of that is related to mission equipment control panels that do nothing in the game anyways. AH-1Q AH-1S AH-1E AH-1F I think this E model might be upgraded quite a bit, but you get the picture on the differences.
