STALKERGB 6 Posted August 17, 2009 can someone tell me how a kid that is under 18 can even afford a computer that can even run arma 2?. Parents shouldnt be buying their kid a computer capable of running this game, lol. YOu get WAY to much money for your age:). the average age of gamer's is between 20 and 30 these days. Most people under that age cant really afford the specs. $2000 - $4000 is the type of computer required to run this game. IF your under 18 and you have that kind of money, that's crazy. Just to blow on a computer. Yeah my computer only cost £650 (excluding vista at £70), I bought the parts with my own money earned from working in Waterstones and built the thing myself. I can run ARMA on near enough full settings without much problem... So for well under the $2000 mark you stated :) AND i was only 17 at the time!

Vultar 0 Posted August 18, 2009 (edited) This is not the age that matters, but the human. There are no annyoing 13, but there are annoying people. Im 16. I wish I was 14, golden age, really.... To all people that wish to be older: Guys... you don't know what you're missing. Edited August 18, 2009 by Vultar
kavoven 4 Posted August 18, 2009 I think we had similar polls in the past, wouldn't it be interesting to compare them? I'd expect an age shift to the right, meaning that the players in average became older since it's been 8 years form the original OFP release and many people are still here =)
celery 8 Posted August 18, 2009 I wish I was 14, golden age, really....To all people that wish to be older: Guys... you don't know what you're missing. And why is 14 such a magical age? You don't have the same rights and freedoms as adults have and you're not that developed physically or mentally. The absolute minimum for the best age is when you can buy booze and get a license for any vehicle and enter any nightclub.
Zombie_Mod 0 Posted August 18, 2009 I'm 37 next month. I don't feel old though :) Life gets better as you get older, it's true :) Back on topic - love OFP & OFP:R, don't like Arma2 much but as soon as I actually figure out XFire and get some online chums to play, I might change my mind. Hook or by crook, BIS are gonna fix this f**ker!!

Big Dawg KS 6 Posted August 18, 2009 And why is 14 such a magical age? Why it's the age at which you can pilot giant mecha... well... if you're Japanese.
