wipman 1 Posted September 24, 2007 Hi, they don't look bad, but have you removed the Coyote Tan vests and now the woodland units wear woodland camo vests?. Have you though in paint in green the Protec SF helmets and add the black & white peak in neck of the helmets too?; that will be much more pimp to have the woodland & desert units equiped in that way; to me at least. dren 0 Posted September 24, 2007 @Wipman Yes everyone haves now woodland west. That were asked from Marine Dont know about Green helmets (yet) as black fits for SF. But nothing is impossible. wipman 1 Posted September 24, 2007 Hi, i agree Dren; the Johnn's USMC are the best USMC units released until date. That's why they're in my HD from the 1St day; im not that fan of the woodland vest in the grunt units because of the M.O.L.L.E. straps shape, they could look better; and i like the Coyote Tan vests because they're the ones already in use by the USMC. I preffer the gunt units with the Coyote Tan vests, could keep me away from use 'em if they had that change, but i'll had to try 'em first. But, i think that the change of the colour of the Protec helmets acording to the BDU (desert or woodland) used by the troops will be very good, it'll fit good, i'll look good, i'll be good. No one has made this yet, but as far as i know (at least here) the units don't use the black ones unless that they gonna do some night op, so use the green or tan Protecs will be a great addition; i'll be thanksfull if someone will do that "small change". Protec Logo for the front and back side: Protec Helmet Green: Protec Helmet Tan: As player and as texturer i think that the SF's helmets colour change will be very positive. This is what i came out with so far: Represents an USMC soldier with a very common loadout for iraq. I still have to add some details to the Nomex Flight suit and some other stuff, like new pouches and probably a new camelback. GD Mast those would be good for Spec Ops/Force Recon Marines, but I'd rather leave the body armor idea he showed in his screenshot with the pilot/crewmen for most other marine units too leave more of a gung ho look, and then the Force Recon could have the MTV's to make them look a little more advanced and look more like a tactical unit then the grunt-type look an average infantry Marine would hold Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
