dilfax 0 Posted June 12, 2007 Anyone finding it hard to get there videos uploaded on youtube today? or not. Because I am, I ve put my new video on filefront for now. The video is only a demo or test film using editing tools, I d filmed a model Tie fighter (starfighter on star wars) and mixed or join it onto an ArmA backgound or map on the editor at that, by masking the model. M.Andersson(SWE) 4 Posted June 13, 2007 Do you guys remember back at OFP..There was a addon that alowed you to act as a Kameraguy with all kinds of settings? I REALLY like that addon in arma... Ill try to find the addon on some of my old OFP backup discs. 2d. Is there a streamsite were you can put rather "high" size files like 4-500mb or maby 700 in divX form. So i use the "Quick Video Converter" to compress the file to mpg fomat. Then i use the divX converter to "downsize" even more. I got a 1.3GB orig avi/fraps file down to 45Mb divX form. I apologize for briefly taking this off-topic, but going from the FRAPS codec (which is lossless) to MPEG (which is lossy) and then transcoding again to DivX (which is also lossy) results in a needless loss of image quality. You're better off staying with the FRAPS codec while you edit, and transcode to your final delivery format at the very end. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
