I think they'll need to spare a salvo for Italy too tho they really didn't convince anyone in the match against Ghana At this point I'm going to start thinking we are risking something similar: we are withdrawing from Iraq, we refused to send reinforcements into A-stan.........If we will also beat the USA team we are going to be the next USAF's target. Garcia 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Czech Republic vs Brazil in finals Just brilliant, I got oral exam in 2 days...nicely placed, just under the WC! There's 2 weeks since the last time I was at school, but they manage to place the damn exam under the WC Worst thing is, only subjects I can get for the exam now is math or chemistry...yay This means, no more WC for me in the next 2 days
EddyBoy 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Quote[/b] ] Czechs given Koller fitness boost Czech star Jan Koller Koller was carried off just before half-time against USA Czech Republic striker Jan Koller hopes to be back in training by Friday after scans revealed his thigh injury is not as serious as was first feared. From BBC sport, sounds good. Oh well, even if Ghana are knocked out Samuel Kuffour can now sleep easy in his Å5million new mansion in the Italian alps. But he was shocking that fellow. Deliberate trip(lucky man) and the backpass. Was he ever that bad when he played in england?

EddyBoy 0 Posted June 13, 2006 yeh he played for munich for 10 seasons or something but he trained in some camp somewhere here. Doesn't matter anyway, poor old Togo, would have been nice to see them win. Looking forward to seeing France play next. never really got the french, 1990,1994 didn't qualify, 98 they won it, 2002 didn't score 1 goal. When you look at zidane, makalele, henry, galla, viera and most importanly Jean-alain Boumsong you wonder how they did so terribly in 3/4 of the last ones . Good luck to them, kinda. I don't know, but they won't have already played back then, it's 12 years ago. And in 2002 they all seemed to be tired...
Thunderbird 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Go France Go!! Great first half and awesome Zidane, like during his first days with the french team... 'Hope the second half would be better Regards TB84
whisper 0 Posted June 13, 2006 We're extremely lucky * kisses posts * And unlucky One don't stop goals with the hand if he's not goalkeeper!!! Too bad Henry can't get the last movement to put it in the net, cause everything else is rather good. Vieira on top. Abidal same. DCs doing fine, Zidane giving nice balls. Just, we're unable to get the ball inside A bit disapointed by Sagnol, he used to pass better, his long passes are 1+m off :P (nitpick nitpick!

EddyBoy 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Wasn't exciting, swiss had most of the chances in the 2nd half. Wonder if they'll ever score in the world cup finals
deanosbeano 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Brasil v Croatia and so it begins ..... nice fisrt half , took Brasil a while to get going tho, Ronaldinho looking v dangerous tho
PainDealer 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Croatia had such bad luck there. they were so much better on the field in general. ronaldinho and ronaldo weren't really that convincing. I saw ronaldo 2 times in action, second time being when they took him out. france - switzerland no words... cept the swiss really would have deserved a victory. JdB 151 Posted June 13, 2006 Great first half and awesome Zidane, like during his first days with the french team... I think you may have been watching a re-run on Eurosport or some other channel of a match from 1998... Match 1: Messy Match 2: Worst I've seen so far Match 3: Doing as much as what is needed and not a thing more...unfortunatly Dissappointing day overall
Thunderbird 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Quote[/b] ]no words... cept the swiss really would have deserved a victory. The same goes to France, we got much more opportunities than swiss, but overall, both teams played quite well IMHO. The brazilian match wasn't that bad, though, as far as I know, brazilians always played like that during their first matches, they would certainly play better within the next incoming days. raedor 8 Posted June 13, 2006 Dissappointing day overall Good to read that, did only watch the last match, didn't have time for more... The last match was pretty boring, but at least a draw would've been fair...
Garcia 0 Posted June 13, 2006 Swiss had bigger chances, deserved to win if some of them was gonna win...
