4 IN 1 0 Posted May 16, 2005 i dont know why, but i just kind of hard to think that this should be the next OFP, as i just doesnt like those faces, well may be you guys may call me crazy, but after played OFP for 4 years and looking at those VBS faces for a year or so i just dont think that the screenshot i saw is what i suppossed OFP to have, and sorry, its no where near word "better" anyway its just too early to say it is OFP2, but for me sakes i just dont want to have such (wax like) face in my beloved game Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
superskunk 0 Posted May 16, 2005 Its a longshot, but maybe BIS realised Codemasters was influencing the developmebt of OFP2 so, that it became more and more "Arcade" style, like a game for the mass.. This way Codemasters can make a lot of money with the game because of the name. BIS guys didn't want this, and decided to go their own way, and make the game, the ofp community wants. If it is anything like this, i will never buy a codemasters game anymore ofcourse, BIS did it the first time, so they will do it again! Anyway i'm not amused with this developer news today! After all, these are fairly advcanced screens considereing it should be released in Spring next year! Faces are the only part that sucked when using addons. The weapons were cool, and so were the arms, legs, body and stuff. But the head/face looked shite. Oh crap just realised I'm starting to talk in imperfect!! But you're right. Some things won't be the same in OFP2. Like May 10th is going to be changed for sure, Bobby Burning's place in the spotlight is gone for surer and I'll never blow up Montignac again in CTI. But that's life. See OFP from 1999 to 2001.. its like a TOTAL new game.. Wait to eary 2006 and then u can see and complain if you wanna.. STGN hum lets see: BIS make a good game using good engine with good addons/modding supports, but they got not-as-good in game model and also not-as-good textures..............did anyone smell something?
