Well, since HYK gave us permission to use his models for other addons, I am now working on these:

National Guardsman ca. 1980-85

Army Reservist ca. 1980-85

Military Police ca. 1980-85

I'm still learning oxygen, so there are still things i need to figure out, so i dont know when this will be ready.

Like fixing the MP textures and the random face textures for instance.. although i like the beard and glasses for the Nat'l Guard guy.. kind gives him that weekend warrior look. I also need to ask John J Rambo permission to use his vietnam helmet model.

I also am planning to create some custom unit insignia, as well as units in the 6 color desert camo.

Also 80's Rangers wearing the OD cap, anybody now of a decent M-69 recoiless rifle addon?

The shape looks right but the size should be waaaay smaller and should sit way lower.

Most National guard wore the Nam era OD green flakvests, the regular army was just getting PASGAT as well as the Fritz. The H patern LBE was still used more.. and used well into the 90s because the Y patern hurt your back and shoulders if you wore a lot of gear.

The helmet band was eleasitc like on the current helmet, oddly a lot of the guard still wore OD green uniforms. Hell I still wore a steel pot in the Army back in the late 80s. Frtiz spent most of the time in the locker, you literly had to qualify to earn the right to wear one at first.

Really great work, the packs on the desert units look excellent, along with everything else.

Download the version using lasers weapons though, the JAM models dont do these guys justice.

Does the U.S have special winter camoflage for vehicles or do they just use the standard green? I was thinking it would be cool if the Combat! bradleys and stuff had a winter texture to go with these guys.

for the most part the US uses the normal NATO or OD camo just they add these white paper strikes to the vehicals. and plus there would be normal snow collecting on them.

Thx guys for downloading.

But I found minor bug on LSR version (inncorrect magazine setting on config),

so I updated LSR version.

I'm sorry for guys who downloaded older version,

however, I believe that current version have no bugs anymore.
