Lt_Damage 0 Posted February 28, 2004 Letting them release things in their own time will be much better than snooping around during the setup.
mooncaine 0 Posted February 28, 2004 Intresting indeed, thogh i would suggest that you all stop nosing around. Last thing we need here is to piss BIS off. Or what? What are they gonna do, punish us by not doing their work as quickly? Get real.
Radnik 18 Posted February 28, 2004 ...Well, yesterday I saw in game shop some kinda new/2003 version of GOTY for 1270din ~--->   18.27 euro  <---~   ...first i thought its a trick but it has CWC, RED HAMMER and RESISTANCE cd-s. I think that this drastic cut off price is becouse a new game or expansion is on the way very soon

Wait ... let me think about a suitable punishment for a virtual trespassing in a virtual private grounds. What about coding the next version of the Fade protecion in such a way that it gradually decreases weapon accuracy for a user name Mooncaine? (What I intended to write original was something in a sense that showing a little respect to other people does not harm, no matter how distant they seem to be, but I am affraid saying things like that have very little effect in Internet environment. quicksand 0 Posted February 29, 2004 Has the www.flashpoint2.com website allways linked to http://www.ctcorp.com/ or is this a new thing? Coalscent created in cooperation with BIS VBS1. Suma if I dug up something i shouldn`t have I appologise, but I actually thought that you were leaving clues to us to find them like the scrambled images on flashpoint2 and I thought this was the big prize for us

soul_assassin 1750 Posted February 29, 2004 guys i dont see y BIS has to take the work of Mod's (for instance BAS, even though we all know that BAS addons are extremely accurate) for creation of a new game. Do you seriously think that they cannot produce the same quality work? It looks familiar for the simple reason that it is based of the same RL object. e.g. the OFP2 Delta looks like BAS Delta for the simple reason that they both look like the RL Delta. Plus given that BIS posseses greater technology than any given MOD team I'd say im sorry to burst all u'r buble...conspiracy is going the wrong direction. I believe that it would show us ofp fans a little respect, by giving us a few clues, instead of finding weird webpages that indicate something... Ive played the full ofp since june 2001, and i think we need some of the dev-team/fan scene relationship like we used to. Things like christmas trees and stuff... Humour, communication, hints. Not just tsk tsk stuff...
SpecOp9 0 Posted February 29, 2004 I have the feeling those screenshots is what OFP 2 will look like.
Lt_Damage 0 Posted February 29, 2004 LOL I am going to be very nice to Suma for now on, knowing him if we dogfight in OFP2 I'll probably find my controls are reversed or something. What I meant before, about it is best not to snoop around, is that BIS do have things planned to show off their work, but you have to let them do it in their own time. Snooping around could possibly delay what they had planned to show us. On the other side of the coin, BIS can obviously see the level of interest OFP fans have in their new project, fans who are dying to see OFP2 and can't help themselves in their search to find out what their new favourite game will be like. Not that snooping is justified just explained. On another note I think people are preparing for OFP2 because our server is packed every night by people I have never even see before. I think on the night before Flashpoint2's release I may have a "Goodbye OFP:Resistance sendoff night with prizes", because I seriously doubt we'll be playing it again after OFP2 Cheers,

On a good note I will still be purchasing the game for the odd LAN session.. enjoy
