SelectThis 0 Posted October 5, 2003 For those experiencing problems with CTD or memory crashing, there are a few things you can try. 1) reduce the land details setting you have ofp running at. This island is twice the size of a standard OFP island ie 512 x 512 rather than 256x256 (meaning 4x the landsurface) so using high detail (or even normal on low spec machines) may take too much memory for your system to handle. 2) use mod folders to organise you addons and run 1.92 3) reduce the number of addons in your folders 4) always check that old versions of addons are not located in different folders (eg JAM) SelectThis Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Harnu 0 Posted October 5, 2003 When I'm extracting the * BAS_Isle_Anim folder to my /res/addons, the folder wont go. And the files with the same name can't be placed there, or they override one another. How do I fix this? Make a sperate folder for each one and drag them seperately? You get a green screen no matter what Mod you boot up with?  If so, it sounds like you may have too many addons in your Res/addons folder.  Make sure that the addons from this BAS addons pack are still not in your Res/Addons folder because if they are, that is what is likely causing your green screen.  Chris G. aka-Miles Teg<GD> (I'm still downloading it... 80% right now, 53.5kb/sec....) edit... Acecombat 0 Posted October 5, 2003 This is huge btw i roamed in the Mh-60 and found a Airport too with a nice terminal and stuff man i am salivating at the prospect of how many types of missions can be created on this sweety Now if we still lack maps for this island i say all of you who say we made this and that liars release them missions now. Tatu also seems to be perfect for BHD sort of missions i see , but too bad i couldnt find any entrerable buildings for the target area , so i guess change of plan the targets are now in a alley smoking pot gotta catch them and bring em back. And people are reporting LAG i dont know whys that , i am playing this map with 2200 viewdistance and it loads fairly quickly then others too. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Actually I ONLY have BAS addons there in res/addon I have BAS then ONLY orginal addons... I put all my adons in my "old" addon folder.. and I dont have som many there eighter I wanna play it and if I dont have them in the res folder and and only mod folder I still get green screen Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The Island comes with a newer version of JAM. So if you install the JAM v1 that comes with the Blackhawks after the Island then it won't work.
