waffendennis 0 Posted August 2, 2003 Btw: the MH60 is it coming in a Whole pack or only the L model because what i saw was not only the L model so guys whats up with that? because: a L model cant fire FFAR missles or Helfire missles its only use for SF Transport and Special operations and what i saw must be the AH60 because thats the Chopper from now what can fire missles in that type so can any BAS crew can confirm this? The MH-60 is coming in a pack, and the only screenshot where you can see a decent amount of the helicopter is one of the MH-60K, as for specifics, i cant give any, you'll find out soon enough. waffendennis 0 Posted August 2, 2003 Lol maybe the DAP version is a Extension for the Menhood you know Direct Action Penetrater
Chomps 0 Posted August 2, 2003 From BAS's information page... Quote[/b] ]The standard configuration of the DAP is one rocket pod, one 30mm cannon, and two miniguns. My bet would be that is at least one of the versions they are making. EDIT: Well, you could not have two miniguns operating independantly, so perhaps only one minigun is mounted in the side, both are mounted but are locked facing forward, or this version isn't exactly in there. Guest jacobaby Posted August 2, 2003 well my bet, is that the DAP config we have is not what you described. And reading back you will see there is only one version. Fixed forward facing M134 (new model and tex) FFAR pods And hellfires. No cargo area for crew other than the Pilot and Gunner, and hence reduced other features. But I think the DAP is my favourite version. TJ
Guest jacobaby Posted August 2, 2003 Hmm i would like to know if the BAS chopper can hold up with the fs2002 bh? PS: You will have to be the judge of that when you get it, (TJ says confidently...) One thing, our sources say the US Army DONT use the green tints in the top windscreen panels, as seen in the FS2002 screenie. And that looks very GREY, when US SF helos are BLACK. Also, Im not sure that the DAP carries the xtra fuel pods as you see there, and our sources say that Hellfires are rarely seen on the DAP. The loadout described by the guy above sounds like a fair balance, and is roughly what we went for. The MH60 series is highly customisable for mission criteria, so it would be impossible for us to provide you with every config possible. However, I am certain the variants decided upon are more than able to fill your requirements, and they will be with you shortly. Again I would emphasize the need for quality missions, See previous posts in this thread. TJ
Sxep 0 Posted August 2, 2003 Thanks for the reply on that, but what i really wanted to know is about the model, not the loadout and the textures...i know you guys allways make the most realistic addons so thats no question from me ;) Because of the model, i remember the last screenshot you posted of the Blackhawk. the nose didn´t look so good. That could have been the cameraposition i don´t know. But could it be posible that you give us some screenshots of it, then i would like to see the externcockpit with nose. Besides its ready for release and i´m freaking out of all the waiting.
Cpt. FrostBite 0 Posted August 2, 2003 for example one of those side shots in O2, like the ones of the HMMWV that Deadmeat posted. So we can clearly see the shape of the nose. Than again it must be said that BAS posted that when no pictures of an addon are showed, it means the addon is very close to release. So I'm not sure if I want to see pics
