Landwarrior87 0 Posted August 3, 2003 ive been asking this question for a while.. the windows on the real mh60 appear to be slightly tinted.. is this possible in Operation Flashpoint, and are the BAS one's ingame tinted? OR MAYBE ITS THE LIGHTING ON THE PICS, DUNNO.
Bluesman 0 Posted August 3, 2003 Here's a suggestion for the next release. Add a complete script-command listing for the unit so it becomes easier to figure them out without having to de-PBO the unit. I spent 3 hours trying find the various commands for the MH-47 which was a bit of a drag. After all; Most add-ons that uses scripts has these listed nowadays . hellfish6 7 Posted August 3, 2003 Ouch, that really really hurt blackdog, please, no more, i cant take the cleverness of your replies. But then, you came up with lines like: "Hey guys, at least we don't close our thread because of your whining like BAS did... " 24hr PR for flamebaiting. Jaguar, that was all totally unnecessary. Edit: Various spam posts also removed. Comments are not required. PM me if you have something to say.
thirtyg 0 Posted August 3, 2003 I've read that one of the roles of the MH-60 in combat has been as a refuel and rearm platform for littlebirds armed with FFARs and miniguns. The blackhawk lands near the area of operation, sets up fueling hoses and unloads ammo and waits for the littlebirds to come. Although it won't be coming out in the beta release are there any plans for this support version in the future? I'm just thinking of some good mission scenarios where you need to rearm and refuel littlebirds while trying to defend your LZ from enemy attack with only two pilots and 2 crew chiefs. Landwarrior87 0 Posted August 3, 2003 whats the name of the camo the rangers where? ive noticed its differnt than regular Nato Tri Color.. it has more orange and a differnt green in it.. And on the Desert Units, will the magazine still be camo'd the same as the weapon because on screenshots ive seen with Navy Seals (Never seen Desert Rangers with Camo'd Weapons) their magazine are normal silver color and makes it look just alot more realistic. Cpt. FrostBite 0 Posted August 3, 2003 isen't it just the regular m81 woodland? It should be. I don't there's another version than just simple old M81 woodland. Quote[/b] ]And on the Desert Units, will the magazine still be camo'd the same as the weapon because on screenshots ive seen with Navy Seals (Never seen Desert Rangers with Camo'd Weapons) their magazine are normal silver color and makes it look just alot more realistic.Well, I've seen pictures of soldiers that had their mags painted desert yellow. But I've seen PJ's that had their weapons fully camouflaged, but left the mags black (there not silver). And I've seen Task Force 20 guys with weapons all black. So I'm not sure about camo. The best way for BAS to implement it is like the PJ's do (and as you described landwarrior)http://media.militaryphotos.net/photos....&id=aai
waffendennis 0 Posted August 3, 2003 Ok i will make some pics of it bit you will laugh you crazy i am sure about that

Its using US woodland, the problem is BDU colours fade in real life when used/washed, obviously this doesnt happen in ofp, which is probably why you are seeing different shades of colours. And no, i dont think the mags will be desert coloured in the next version, but im not certain.
Jester983 0 Posted August 3, 2003 I have a question for BAS. This is about your MH47. Will you be updating it when the seals come out so that it can carry the DPV? Or is it too big for the MH47? Like size wise. I dont think its that heavy...but i could be wrong. One more question, how many klr250s can be packed up into the MH47 cargo? Not sure if these have been answered before. I just got these questions when i was playing MP last night.
GoOB 0 Posted August 3, 2003 If you mean how many can be packed in to the MH-47E in real lif I think they usually only carry two or four. Since otherwise it would get kind of cramped in the back and the risk of the driversfalling and or slowing down the process of unloading the rest of the bikes.
dm 9 Posted August 3, 2003 You could allways check the readme for the number of KLR's And the MH-47 will be updated, but not until all of our current projects are cleared.
Shashman 0 Posted August 3, 2003 http://media.militaryphotos.net/photos....&id=aai Man...If anybody deserves the most hardass, most heroic, most daring, most deserving of praise awards then it HAS to be USAF pararescuers. These guys are amazing. They have to train in practically everything battlefield related in all sorts of environments. 2 thumbs up to them
Landwarrior87 0 Posted August 3, 2003 The best way for BAS to implement it is like the PJ's do (and as you described landwarrior)http://media.militaryphotos.net/photos....&id=aai those weapons look really cool.. and thier weapons are camo'd darker than the bas ones. And this is a really stupid question but i think those clips on their helmets are for night vision goggles? right? EDIT: Quote[/b] ] Man...If anybody deserves the most hardass, most heroic, most daring, most deserving of praise awards then it HAS to be USAF pararescuers. GoOB 0 Posted August 3, 2003 Yes, and the guy without those tiny little clips probably hasn't attached it. I wouldn't want it there either, unless I was going to use NVG's of course

Cpt. FrostBite 0 Posted August 3, 2003 PJ's jump out of planes helicopters and just about any other thing that looks like a good working vehicle of some sort. Those guys are nuts in a good way! And yes ,those are the guys that "jump" out of the pavehawks (awesome picture, note the 40mm grenades); jumping out getting back in returning with an A-10 pilot that was shot down near Baghdad
