Then well never know all the little but very important updates they give us. No one bows to BAS. Yes they are very good in the addon dept. But in the end they are still a mod, no different from any other mod. And all of the mods have the potencial of making a AH 64 with all the lights and missiles. I think that people's opinions (both positive and negative) of BAS, BAS news and BAS addons should therefore be legitimate on this thread (within the limits of forum rules in general). To answer Drill Sergeant's points, IMO, BAS can do and not do what they want. Knowing them, the work they've offloaded/transfered to another mod team will wind up being quality work, as BAS themselves say. Bow to BAS? I call it elementary appreciation for the great addons they've put out so far. Maybe you don't care for them but it seems obvious that the not-at-all-silent majority of the OFP community has had lots of fun playing missions and campaigns that use BAS' addons out so far. A fundamental rule of this board is that flaming is prohibited. Because BAS is a collection of addon makers does not mean that people can flame them as a group and get away with it. Had Drill Sergeant approached the issue in a mature, constructive manner instead of the blindly angry and hostile way he did, it would not be considered flaming. He did not offer an opinion - he launched an attack. Not to mention that disobeying a mod is also a no-no. And yes, you did start this thread, Avon. But that doesn't give you ownership of it. soul_assassin 1750 Posted July 27, 2003 I believe DR's post is a sad attempt to get some comeback at BAS . As I read at opflash.org forums he apparently is working on SEALs and ask for manual labour help. everyone rejected saying that y bother when BAS are making theirs and the usual.
