I'm pleased to announce the release of version 1.1 of 3CB Factions

 

Release notes:

Added: Improved texture to UH1H M240s
Added: Static Weapon backpacks to units in Eden Editor
Added: Workaround AFM to UH1H
Fixed: FIA HMG Offroad red texture conflict
Fixed: Incorrect Hilux PKM name
Fixed: M16 optic proxy position
Fixed: MH9 bench and unarmed passenger issue
Fixed: Missing T-series firing effects
Fixed: Randomization of facegear on units can now be disabled in Eden via unit properties or via 3CB module
Fixed: RPK name and incorrect magazine options
Fixed: UH1H Armed side door animation. Now correctly hidden
Fixed: UH1H Missing Rotor Shadows when at high speed
Fixed: V3S Ammo truck having rear FFV turrets
Removed: BIS equipment / weapons from T-series tanks inventory

Thank you for this update! Everything works fine) And thank you for new red icon. It's really usefull when you have a lot of different mods installed.

Thanks for the update, one small cosmetic bug I ve noticed is that MaxxPro MRAPs still have vanilla BLUFOR weapons and gear in vehicle inventory.

@bolo861: Thanks, I'll add the fix to the next update. The same issue with the tanks was reported, but not the MaxxPro. If you see any more, please let me know so that I can correct it.

Couple of bugs:

 

  1. RPK currently weights 0.00 kg
  2. M16A2 and M16A2 M203 (the one with UGL) have exact same weight.
  3. Lee Enfield Mk III with Rails weights twice as much as non-railed version. Seems a bit too much for the addition of top rails, bottom rails for bipod and threaded end of the barrel.

I have noticed the Hiker clothing has the NAPA flecktarn camo available, but its not visible in arsenal. Any way you could make it appear there with its classname?

Possibly in the future. Depending on the uniform, there are anywhere between 3-6 different colour versions of the same uniform. Adding them all would add a considerable amount of scrolling to the arsenal. Also, it would require a lot of UI images to be created. It's not really priority at the moment, but I'll consider it for a future update.

Is it possible to reduce armour on Takistan Insurgent Uniform? It's just clothes with no body armour but it can take too many hits now.

Unless the game has changed with the last update, there is no armour on the uniforms. It inherits from a base uniform class and has no additional armour added. If there is an issue with the Takistan Insurgent uniform, there is an issue with them all, for all sides and factions, as they use the same BIS base uniform class.

But in VA when you choose this uniform you can notice that armour settings are different from other forms in mod. Maybe I misunderstood you.

I think the two FAL variants in the pack should have full auto capability, unlike the L1A1 which is semi auto only.

Nah, lot of end user armies ended up blocking auto sears on belgian made FN FALs, so shooting only in single fire mod isn t a bug.

I'm not opposed to adding full auto to it. Just not a priority at the moment.

 

As for the Takistan Insurgent uniform, it appears it is an Opfor issue with O_Soldier_F I was inheriting from. Looks like the base CSAT unit must have armour on the uniform. B and I_Soldier_F appear fine.

@evrik i have small question to you.
Does 3CB consider to add any African Militia and Civilians fractions to 3CB Fractions MOD? It could be great supplement to this mod given number of great African maps in Arma 3.

Yes, I would like to add some African factions at some point. I need to finish off the basic Cold War US and Soviet factions, plus the Cherno police. After that I intend to add some Desert / Savannah style African factions and some for more Jungle environments. All of this is governed by my amount of free time.

Noticed AI will refer to all IND Takistani units as 'Pilots' when doing combat reports. Dunno if it is a problem for other 3CB factions. Thanks.
