markoef 127 Posted August 20, 2019 @Ghost19 You can see the contents of the NVG update here; It includes the new scopemodels, as well as ACE interaction (which will be coming to more items).
Capt Childs 178 Posted August 21, 2019 Thanks, nice video, really interesting stuff! Appreciate the interactions you're building into to work with ACE, but are you using your own custom nightvision effects, or using the effect from ACE?

Siege-A 4056 Posted September 1, 2019 Been kinda quiet over here, must mean it's time for some WIP. Was hoping for some better lighting, but unfortunately our team got so caught up with the mod we forgot to pay the power bill this month. Though it did make for a good opportunity to play around with our NODs.

Siege-A 4056 Posted September 15, 2019 Few other items that are nearly ready to be pushed ingame; Crye JPC 2.0, Haley D3CRX, and S&S V-Lite. These are all completely new models (Originally made by OMA) and not reworks of donated assets. Still unsure of what we will do with the original JPC model once the 2.0 is in, may keep it as part of the pack, but either way the 2.0 will become our primary of the two. 18
Miroslaw Kowalski 54 Posted September 27, 2019 This mod is amazing. Is there a possibility of it being more modular in regards to what pbos to load? Like having one pbo for every type of plate carrier for example? So that everyone can decide which plate carriers one wants ingame and which ones one doesn't want?

As someone who has hundreds of arsenal loadouts, having to scroll for 10 seconds to find a hat I need for some 30-odd men for a faction can be quite time consuming.
kerozen 187 Posted October 1, 2019 I don't know the structure of the mod but i'm guessing they want to minimize that kind of thing (separate pbos for each camo) so people don't reupload their mod separately based on camo/equipment choice. if i remember correctly they will have 2 versions of them mod a full version with everything available and a lite version with fewer options to declutter the arsenal

Trust me, this is something that we are constantly seeking to improve upon as we move further along. But there is a line that has to be drawn somewhere between what makes it more manageable for the end user versus what makes it more manageable on our side. Having 50+ different PBO's to manage separately would be quite the burden (especially when you consider the ways in which we are already adding PBO modularity), and surely we aren't trying to get ourselves discouraged here. As more assets are added, and the mod continues growing, we will be looking into more ways that we can further break things down. Nothing is set in stone yet and everyone can expect many changes to come about with each update. 8 hours ago, Victruso said: As someone who has hundreds of arsenal loadouts, having to scroll for 10 seconds to find a hat I need for some 30-odd men for a faction can be quite time consuming. That will actually be fixed very soon for those that use ACE + USP. 6 hours ago, kerozen said: if i remember correctly they will have 2 versions of them mod a full version with everything available and a lite version with fewer options to declutter the arsenal The 'Lite' version may or may not ever happen, it was just an idea at one point. But I do believe with our new features using ACE, that idea becomes more and more less likely. The coming update will show some of the improvements when using ACE, such as the Arsenal being decluttered down to the base items for each asset, due to the added ability to customize items on the go. This will effectively eliminate those tons of variants out of sight while still maintaining the option to have them in those setups, as well as switching them around on the fly. PBO's will have optional ACE compat files and pattern packs based by country. The core mod will then only contain Black, Coyote Brown, Ranger Green, Multicam & all MC-Variants. This adds further modularity to the extent of how we want it for now. The only people to suffer of the clutter madness will be those not running ACE, which may or may not be looked into in the near future. Furthermore, we are also implementing full ACE NVG, glasses/goggles, and ear protection support. So needless to say, ACE will be the way to go from here. 14
Shiloh 102 Posted October 7, 2019 Really looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with, and the ACE + USP combo seems like it'll help quite a lot. And man I can't wait to see that Haley rig, I've always felt there was a distinct lack of chest rigs out there, so this'll be a great addition.
Siege-A 4056 Posted October 8, 2019 Some new WIP for our Safariland holster. Will have many colors/patterns for it, covered and non-covered versions, and mounted at the hip or dropleg (as well as other possible positions depending on the loadout). 22

Siege-A 4056 Posted October 19, 2019 Now for the reveal of our first bump helmet (teased earlier on), and what better choice than the Team Wendy Exfil Carbon? Still some small tweaks to be made (little texture work, bungees over battery pack, arc adapter properly fitted, etc), but already quite impressive. Looking to be one hell of an update on the way. 17
Disgusting_Man 111 Posted October 19, 2019 Will you add armour values to vests and helmets for the next update? And are you going to reduce the number of things in VA because there are really a lot of helmets and caps which are not much different from each other. Thank you! Waiting for update! golas 36 Posted October 19, 2019 It probably wont happen cause engine limitation but vest that actually reads content and get(proxy alike?) Pouches for magazines grenades etc would be amazing

Yes, armor values are being corrected and added to all helmets/vests for the update. As for reducing the number of items in VA, have a read over the post I made just a couple before the TW helmet renders and that should give you an answer on that. 1 hour ago, golas said: It probably wont happen cause engine limitation but vest that actually reads content and get(proxy alike?) Pouches for magazines grenades etc would be amazing We have been exploring some options with adding proxies for magazines on the vests, and other items will be added if we can get it working. No guarantee that it will happen though, not much info around about it and its still a bit of a mystery for us. Would be a very cool feature to have.
golas 36 Posted October 19, 2019 Only magazines or maybe pouches with magazines? It would be amazing to see almost bare vest that automatically adds radio pouch, magaiznes pouches and other stuff 🙂

Siege-A 4056 Posted November 21, 2019 So as we draw closer to the updated release, I figured it would be a good time to drop in and catch you guys up on some of the work that's been going on. Lots of new content, overhauls, and ideas that have been added in. First thing I'd like to mention is the work being done with the ACE interaction system, which has gotten even more in-depth than the original plans for it. Accessories and attachments for vests/helmets/uniforms/packs are now being added to the game as inventory items which you can carry on you. Not only can you carry them, but now it will be a requirement to have the items on you which you would like to attach. Giving more of a thought process to planning out the load/gear you wish to bring along for a mission. Selecting a preconfigured loadout will still give you the option of interacting with the accessories, which would then be added to your inventory once removed. Of course, this is only when using ACE along with USP. Without ACE, the inventory items will still be there, but you'll have no way of interacting with them (which is why the arsenal will still be cluttered with all variants if not using ACE). Only downside to all of this is it means a ton more config work than what was already being done. So needless to say, this update will mainly be a demo for the ACE interactions and whats to come instead of waiting until we've got it functioning for all items. If the effect didn't seem worth the effort, we wouldn't even be doing any of this. But using the ACE interactions has been quite the game-changer IMO and I believe its well worth the work involved. Aside from all of that, we have some new goodies to show as well. Some brand new models have been implemented, with some being replacements for older models that we were already using. Cunico's GPNVG18 model has been replaced with a new one. New model for the PVS15, replacing the old one we were going to use. And then some entirely new assets for the mod, such as the Wilcox L4G19 mount, ANVIS mount, and Tshirt. Then some new WIP for models in the works; Smith Boogie Sport goggles and the ANVIS 9. More images on the subreddit. Enjoy. 16

Capt Childs 178 Posted November 23, 2019 @Siege-A OK hats off gents, your use of ACE interaction to add items to and from gear is revolutionary. Great idea and implementation. Given this can now be wedded to ACE, will adding COMTAC’s to a helmet add ACE hearing protection and remove it again when they’re removed? (hopeful) Are you night vision devices grandfathering in the ACE night vision realism effects, or your own? (hopeful) Exciting developments! Keep going!
