I've always thought it'd be nice to have like a progression bar for each of your projects. That way people would understand the sheer size of the project and better appreciate your hard work.

What do you think? No need to do a roadmap or commit to dates but more FYI

 

Why would you need that? Just enjoy what's there and be happy that more is coming. It's impossible to give a percentage anyway, since we might continue improving CUP even after we deem it "finished".

It's a (attempt at a faithful) remake of Guba's Russians from OFP: CWC :) These in particular are Spetsnaz

What does the soldier mode mean as thats what you need for us army? I just want to know more whats behind the making of the uniforms.

Did you mean soldier modeL? Making uniforms from A2 soldier models means carving out the body armor, make new mesh for the missing torso, do all the weigthing (probably the most tedious thing of all), then test it in game.

Seems like a pointless chore, we don't have a set of goals for every update, whenever we have enough stuff sorted out we pack a release candidate and when that is tested we make a new update.

Well isn't that how all progress bars work? They move up steadily to a specific value, then stick there for minutes or longer, and all of a sudden they jump to 100 % :)

Hey friends. I have a dumb question. I downloaded some of the CUP stuff from PwS, but when I launch with the Terrains active...it's actually not. I can't find any of the locations in the editor.

 

Did I make a booboo? It's @_cup_terrains_core, if that means anything. Watch me be missing something so obvious...

Did you download @cup_terrains_maps as well? (Included in "CUP Terrains Complete.")

I looked through PwS, and what do you know, you need two Terrain folders; core and maps. I got it.

 

Are the terrains direct ports from ArmA I and II, by the way? I recall Chernarus got a texture mod for ArmA II, so I'm mainly asking in case that can't be used on the map. I think it was Landtex.

regarding CUP ponds. while they look ok, I see no gunshot splashes.

Next patch for all packs is really close to completion, here is a content showcase for what it's going to bring in:

No. We also don't have Russians yet. Or US Army. Or BAF. Or CDF. These things take time, so please, stop bugging for specific vehicles, units or other stuff, it will be there when it's there. If you want to accelerate things and you are a modder, join the team. Other than that, sorry, you'll have to wait.

Hey I built the SAM pack with CUP in mind, as I have no intention of playing A3 with bug-eyed future soldiers... so I'm kind of CUP-promoting at the same time ;)

I was under the impression it didn't have Arma 3 physx though.

If that's not the case send the files over, that simplifies our lives a lot.

Is the LHD possible to spawn in the Eden editor? Last time I tried the Atlas one, it wasn't. Also, the manual still references the obsolete 2D editor, it'd be great if it could be updated if it does work in Eden.

Obsolete 2D editor? lol, still working fine for me.

 

Will look into it for Eden, but no promises.

Sorry to bother you guys with my presence a little longer, friends, but I have a question about what CUP plans on bringing over.

 

I know you're all busy with A1/A2/OA and that lot, but have there been any plans for OFP and ToH? Not that I'm demanding these, but these are ArmAverse titles too. :P
