Looks so generic... I don't know, maybe it's about style of directing things? We can only guess that the Empire survived the long battle and the Galaxy hasn't made any progress at all. Rebels still use X-Wings while the remnants of the Empire fly Tie Fighters Mk1. And that is all we learn from the trailer. Pen drive speeder, ball droid. Who is responsible for designing these? Who the heck is John Boyega? His mimic is really annoying. Yeah really when looking back Jar-Jar wasn't that bad after all, you know. And the "wild lightsaber" with laser hilt... Well, if You'd detach original Star Wars (New Hope), from the rest of the series and it's legacy, all You've left with is sci-fi version of Kurosawa's "Hidden Fortress". My theory is that the Empire fell into temporary disarray after Endor, with different Moff's trying to grab power. mr burns 132 Posted April 17, 2015 Have a look at Dark Forces for an explanation. Imperial blasters got high ROF & silly accuracy, rebels blasters are the other way around. It´s the perfect balance, fit for P2W wars when there wasn´t even any P2W to begin with. Well technically they could be, this was a while after the clone wars and the empire likely began conscripting people from various planets, afterall they don't all sound the same which means (aside from a terrible plot point) they aren't all the same person.
