fn_Quiksilver 1636 Posted April 10, 2016 I can't help feeling that people are viewing it through a lens made of hype. ~90% of humans make decisions based on social conformity, no surprise that people genuinely believe hyped films are better than they are. I thought it was worth the money to see, but nothing special aside from what a large budget can pull off. Character depth and story was aimed at the 8-14 yr old target market for the franchise, with a sprinkling of Grit Lite for the parents, carefully swaddled in comic relief. I'd give it a 6.5/10 (above avg) for entertainment and a 4.5/10 based on my desire to see the next one in the series as I walked out.
