All in Arma Terrain Pack (AiA TP) - A1/A2/OA terrains from BI in A3

I'm new to the whole terrain making thing so I'm unsure how to add the AiATP content to use it in TB while having them remain only a dependency for in game.

I can get the models in TB and Bulldozer but they have no textures.

Not sure if it was already reported,but Thirsk and Thirsk Winter works great with AIA TP.

Nice work, though as a marine biologist, I gotta say that the waters in AiA TP are suffering from some serious algae blooms. :D

Where in the loadorder AiA should be? On the top or bottom. I use a 3rd party Launcher for Arma not the launcher from Steam

the water is supposed to look like the baltic sea.

as a marine biologist, would you say it looks plausible? :}

Am I restricted to this version of Chernarus or can I import the current 0.48 version from SA?

he was speaking about "Chernarus map .48 DayZ SA" -> Dayz StandAlone and I think you cannot import that map into anything else but I'm not sure

Ah okay, i thought he was talking about the AiA SA Version... Nevermind :)

They are not identical. There are new towns and bases with enterable buildings, Etc

You can't port it or use it in any other games than the Dayz SA.

Please Define: "cannot import that map into anything else." Because I can import any version of SA into Arma 3.

Hey guys, I ran into this on Sahrani, as well as Porto and Rahmadi.

I looked through the thread and the issue tracker, and didn't find anything related to this. But as you can see, the ground at my feet is normal, but across the river it's.. not normal. At a certain distance, the terrain loses all texture, but as you get close it fixes. I don't think it's from the map grid issues though. Does anyone know what causes this? If this was mentioned before, my apologies. But like I said I didn't see anything about it so I figured I'd see anyone else has encountered this :)

Using AiATP 1.1.0.1 and [F2] Groups in the editor. There seems to be a bug with the listings as it has removed certain factions, groups and classes. Could possibly be conflicting classes within cfgGroups.

Sorry my bad. The issue was only present for the AiA TP lite version - not in the full version.

Yes it will. Currently the is a global lighting setting for all terrains (outside A3 terrains from BI).

And there is a tweaked one for Chernarus (and community made terrains based on Chernarus).

Did you join the terrain designer Skype group chat yet?

Best case you need a correct P drive with all data you are to use in source format.

You can get the objects, buildings, vegetation and such either from the A2 sample models:

For the start you can also just extract the AiA TP (lite) data with extractPbo to P:\

I think Fabiano made this mainly for Chernarus. Other community made terrains based on it use it too though.

Would be great if you two could team up to find good coloring for other popular terrains. :)

Load order should not matter. AiA TP handles it correctly itself.

But I am unsure if it's some technology change from A1 to A3 or the quality was just that bad in A1. :confused:

Happened to me too, so i decided lo load this one http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=22209 or the "Lite" version without Units, Problem was solved ^^
