As the webcam feed seems okay, I can tell by the video altis/nato showcase is going to drop fps big time.

But watching this guy Thomas Ryan I know by the smile in his face creating a mission live, mission creating is done with L.O.V.E over at BIS. Though he will never ever be a good pilot. ;)

Irritating to see the Tank's zeroing stuck on 800m and the guy wondering why none of his shells were even landing in his field of view.

Also aerial unguided bombs still have no HUD indicator estimating their area of impact or does it only show up when you have a target lock (why didn't the guy also use that when he was searching for HEMTTs?)?

Exactly how many weapons will we be seeing come launch? As far as rifles, machine guns, and pistols go, what we have know is what we get or will there be more?

Dear BI Devs, this question wasn't fully addressed in the livestream Q&A, you just told me to go see the established list on the website (which yes, technically answers the first part) but what I really want to know is will we see MORE weapons whether in the campaign release DLCs or in future DLCs.

So what I liked:

- UAVs

- Altis(it's going to be beautiful)

- Slammer/Merkava survived quiet a lot of hits... 3? With just a yellow hud... that's nice.

What i didn't like:

- no trophy system:(

- there is no machine gun on slammer? Do we have another version of it? I've seen screenshots with it.

- still this magical radar on apcs/tanks....

- the shot from slammer didn't feel powerful...

- unguided bombs...

More, only engine was damaged despite being hit from several directions, while engine was damaged after a direct hit in to glacis plate, so directly where it is placed. Maybe improved damage system?

Basic variant have a machine gun coaxial to main gun, but there was also uparmored model with RCWS on turret roof for TC I assume.

No, there is different problem, the APFSDS ammunition do not contain explosives, but hitting target there should be some effect like sparks, flash etc. HE ammo works fine.

Overall I like what was shown in case of tanks, especially physics, tank seems to feel heavy, like in real life.

And why is there only 1 plane, if it got no improvements at all? (no pip, no working MFD, just a plain hud), what made the F35 that bad that it didn't make it into the game?

I believe we will see more jets AFTER release. It's understandable they are focusing more on features, quality, and optimization/bug fixes at the moment.

Why release a broken game with tons of stuff, when you could release a beautiful working game with a few things missing and to be added at a later date?

They showcased the only jet in the game with no answer if and when there will be more, booh. Altis looks great though, there must be tons of great locations for missions, cant wait to check it out.

I like how they improved drones by making them manually controllable, too bad that they didn't show the UAV terminal since I wanted to see if they improved waypoints and such..

The A143 Buzzard was slightly disappointing because it had no PiP monitors and was pretty generic, no OPFOR/BLUFOR version either. Don't see why the F-35 isn't in since they have practically the same quality, IIRC the F35 has even better MFDs than the A143.

The Merkava/Slammer tank was disappointing too, from what it seemed like, it has no internal mortar and I don't think it had a trophy APS. (It did have a RWR and I've seen some projectile go near the tank and not further damage it, I'm not sure if there was APS involved or it just didn't penetrate).

The tank used the same boring scope HUD like most APCs, it doesn't have an ATGM either. (the real merkava can fire the LAHAT ATGM)

Except I really doubt it will be much improved within the month. Sure, there will be some improvements, but I highly doubt it will go from broken to beautifully working within one month if it hasn't for the past several months.

Altis looks very promising with the big villages and more flat open areas. Nicely variation and room. Cant wait it to appear in dev-build. :)
