DnA 5156 Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) Warning: there are some bad UI issues in this publication. We're going to follow-up with a hotfix immediately (this will reset ongoing downloads). Update: hotfix deployed. Edited September 26, 2013 by DnA
kuIoodporny 45 Posted September 26, 2013 In the latest DEV or in the next one? If the latest I can't confirm: The crew can still be seen from the turret back and side.. but I cannot kill them now. It's animation issue, hopefully addressed when animators have free hands. The bug that was fixed was ability to crawl under tank and raise your torso INTO the tank, sticking the muzzle into crew's... whatever.

St. Jimmy 272 Posted September 26, 2013 Warning: there are some bad UI issues in this publication. We're going to follow-up with a hotfix immediately (this will reset ongoing downloads).Update: hotfix deployed. I wouldn't be sure about that. Just started the game first time after today's patches. Everything in the UI is stacked to that point :/
2nd ranger 282 Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) inventory management... is that what I think it is!!!??? :O:O:O:Oloadout editor?? No. It says "In scenario briefings." I guess it means the gear pool. Edited September 26, 2013 by 2nd Ranger
gliptal 25 Posted September 26, 2013 I wouldn't be sure about that. Just started the game first time after today's patches. Everything in the UI is stacked to that point :/I have the same issue, same point.No. It says "In scenario briefings." I guess it means the gear pool. Confirmed, it's been there for a couple of days. For now you can only rearrange units inventory (no way to swap ammo/items between units).Yay!
Victim9l3 11 Posted September 26, 2013 On the "FIA have better looking uniforms",.. uh,no. The marksman looked a lot better before. He was the only one that looked like him. Now you removed his mask and made him identical to 2 other guys. Now the rifleman is the ONLY one that wears a mask. Their nature should have more of them in masks. ALso, the squad leader and team leader should never look the same. What's the point? Just call him leader. These are rebels, and don't have a uniform. So having them dressed the same, Especially similar classes, doesn't look real. Is it mandatory that all leaders wear a beanie and blue jacket and brown pants? The rest of the group isn't as bad; they have same clothes but hats or equipment or things like that may be different, so they still look natural but team leader and squad leader is identical just a gl on one. Bring more of them with masks. (I say masks as a general term, I forgot what those are actually called)
mr_centipede 31 Posted September 26, 2013 About UI error, Yep, I can confirmed that it's still not fixed... but is it because I was downloading the unfixed version before the fix was commited?
2nd ranger 282 Posted September 26, 2013 FIA soldiers have better uniforms So this just means texture tweaks or adding/removing hats? One thing that really needs attention with the FIA uniforms is the jacket model used for guerrilla smocks "U_OG_Guerilla3_1" and "U_OG_Guerilla3_2". Vests clip through them and it looks awful. instagoat 133 Posted September 26, 2013 I wouldn't be sure about that. Just started the game first time after today's patches. Everything in the UI is stacked to that point :/ I do not get that error anymore right now. Maybe let steam check your files for completeness and validity? Victim9l3 11 Posted September 26, 2013 Does anyone else have a problem with their layout? Everything that should be in the corners of my screen (subordinates, stance, ammo, etc) is now in the middle of my screen slightly above middle. My layout options are still correct though
memphisbelle 99 Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) found this error in the rpt Error in expression <task2succ and task3succ and task4succ> Error position: <and task3succ and task4succ> Error and: Typ Objekt, erwartet Bool does that mean that AND is no more a valid boolean value?...I hope not Edited September 26, 2013 by MemphisBelle
Gekkibi 11 Posted September 26, 2013 The AI is still fubar. Placed AT specialist on a rooftop and an enemy IFV ~300 meters away with LOS to it. AI will lie down and stay there, and with setUnitPos "MIDDLE" it will keep aiming the IFV with his rifle. Is Arma 3 pvp-only?
pettka 694 Posted September 26, 2013 As for the FIA uniforms - there has been an issue with FIA on OPFOR and Independent side that their soldier didn't have correct uniform in inventory. That is what has been fixed, there was no other change :icon_twisted:
das attorney 858 Posted September 26, 2013 It's animation issue, hopefully addressed when animators have free hands. The bug that was fixed was ability to crawl under tank and raise your torso INTO the tank, sticking the muzzle into crew's... whatever. You can still crawl under buildings, look up and glitch through into the building to fire. For example Military Cargo HQ (Green) on Stratis at 024,056. I had a weird issue in a mission recently where an AI with any AT weapon would fire at any OPFOR armoured vehicle except the Marid. He would only engage it if he was on more or less the same elevation as the vehicle, and only from a higher elevation if there were no rocks nearby. Which vehicle were you using? Replaced one Jayholder Radio Protocol with a recorded British Protocol Can't find this using setSpeaker. Anyone else? AFV, and set indfor friendly to nobody. I tested AT against it by placing AT soldier on a road as well. Drove slowly to intersection in front of me so that the AT soldier is on my left flank maybe 300 meters away. The soldier spotted me instantly, but did he decide to swap weapons? Nooo... It's a lot better idea to lie on the road and aim with your rifle...
DnA 5156 Posted September 26, 2013 When we download the hotfix on devbranch, it does no longer show those errors. It may sometimes take the Steam servers a little while to distribute updates, especially when released in rapid succession. Try restarting your Steam clients fully. St. Jimmy 272 Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) Oh I was sure I downloaded two times but it was something from the workshop now that i checked :o Well I restarted and now I wait... /OK Steam seems to be slow with the hotfix because it hasn't come yet. Oh well time to do something else then... Edited September 26, 2013 by St. Jimmy

thx1137 10 Posted September 26, 2013 After the 495,3 kb "hotfix" the UI is broken. Looks the same as St.Jimmy posted. Same here however found the fix for those of us that ran the game before the hotfix was deployed. Once the hotfix has been applied go into Configure | Game | Layout then press the OK button. Restart the game like it says and all fixed. For me anyways...
